The latest developments in the murder of female student Han Han (pseudonym) by Guo Chunniu, a teacher at a university in Anhui, were recently sentenced to death by the Anhui Higher People's Court in the second instance, and Guo Chunniu was sentenced to death for intentional homicide.
On March 22, Han Han's mother, Ms. Xie, revealed to the media that they planned to take their daughter's body home for burial next, and they felt that it was enough to get such a result before the Qingming Festival.

September 19, 2019, this is the most painful day in Xie Nü's life. On this day, Guo Chunniu followed Han Han all the way, and stabbed her dozens of times with a dagger in the street, causing her death.

According to Jinyun, Guo Chunniu went to the hospital before committing the crime to issue a diagnosis certificate of moderate depression, and repeatedly stressed his illness during the first-instance trial.
In the end, the Wuhu Intermediate People's Court sentenced Guo Chunniu to death in the first instance.
