On the morning of October 27, local time, two explosions occurred in a row in half an hour near the Mandalay Road Transport Authority, Myanmar's second largest city, causing 5 rescue workers and more than 10 ordinary people to be injured.

It is understood that at 11:00 a.m. on the 27th, the first explosion occurred in the parking lot of the Mandalay Road Transport Authority, some people were injured, and more than a dozen motorcycles were burned, causing a fire at the scene. In the afternoon, a civilian armed group called the Upper Myanmar Special Forces posted on social media that it was responsible for the serial bombings. The group said the action was aimed at reducing revenues from government departments and warned people to stay away from the government's administrative, tax and power sectors to avoid unnecessary harm.
