According to Reuters Washington reported on August 27, US officials said in a declassified summary of the report on the 27th that the US intelligence agency believes that if it cannot grasp more information, it cannot make a judgment on whether the source of the new coronavirus is a "laboratory leak".

The Chinese Embassy in the United States issued a statement saying that the US report slandered the Chinese side for obstructing the investigation, and that the report was "fabricated by the intelligence departments and has no scientific or credible degree of credibility."

According to the report, the statement also criticized the US government for "keeping its own traceability secretive and closing the traceability door to death."
