Space travel company Virgin Galactic has reportedly announced that it will partner with the Italian Air Force to launch its first commercial research mission, Unity 23. The "Unity 23" mission will be the 23rd flight of the Virgin Galactic VSS Unity spacecraft and will carry three paying crew members from the Italian Air Force and the National Research Council (NRC). The goal of this task is to assess and measure the effects of the transition from gravity to microgravity on the human body. The mission's flight window is the end of September or the beginning of October this year, the exact date depending on technical inspections and weather conditions. (Sina Technology)
