author:Food partner network foodmate

Food Partner Network News On October 18, the Hunan Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau reported 327 batches of food safety sampling inspections, and 17 batches of samples in 12 categories, such as beverages, quick-frozen foods, potatoes and puffed foods, confectionery products, tea and related products, wine, vegetable products, fruit products, fried foods and nut products, soy products, meat products, catering food, etc., were found to be unqualified.

Nearly 60% of the unqualified samples were detected with microbial contamination problems

Among the unqualified samples, 10 batches of samples were detected with microbial contamination problems, accounting for about 60% of all unqualified samples. Among them, 8 batches of samples were found to be pseudomonas aeruginosa projects that did not meet the provisions of national food safety standards, namely: Xuefeng Luquan packaged drinking water produced and sold by the nominal Xuefeng Luquan Drinking Water Factory in Dongkou County; Xuefeng Water Bottled Drinking Water sold by the Dongkou County Reemployment Grain and Oil Store, nominally produced by Xuelang Water Plant in Hongjiang City, Hunan Province; Lipin Mingquan (packaged drinking water) produced and sold by Yueyang Lipin Food Co., Ltd.; and Yuanzhibao mountain spring water produced and sold by the nominal Xinhuang Baiyan Mineral Water Co., Ltd The Muderson drinking natural rock spring water produced and sold by Loudi Xuquan Beverage Co., Ltd.; the happy e-home drinking spring water produced and sold by daxi water plant in BenchZhai Village, Liang umbrella town, Xinhuang County; the township mountain spring packaged drinking water produced and sold by The nominal Youxian Guiquan Natural Mountain Spring Co., Ltd.; the drinking pure water produced and sold by the Nominal Dingcheng Lingquan Pure Water Plant in Changde City.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common condition pathogen that belongs to the non-fermented Gram-negative bacilli. The bacteria are ubiquitous, especially in humid environments. The National Standard for Food Safety packaged drinking water (GB 19298-2014) stipulates that the test results of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in 5 samples of the same batch of products in packaged drinking water shall not be detected. The excess of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in drinking water may be due to the fact that individual enterprises do not strictly control the sanitary conditions of the production and processing process according to the requirements, or the cleaning and disinfection of packaging containers is not in place.

In addition, the total number of colonies detected in the winter melon diced (candied fruit) produced and sold by the nominal Liuyang Guandu Xingxing Food Factory did not meet the provisions of the national food safety standards.

The total number of colonies is an indicative microbial indicator, not a pathogenic indicator, which is mainly used to evaluate the cleanliness of food and reflect whether the food meets hygienic requirements during production. "GB 14884-2016 National Standard for Food Safety Candied Fruit" stipulates that the total number of colonies in candied fruit should meet the requirements of n=5, c=2, m=1000 CFU/g, M=10000CFU/g. The reason why the total number of colonies in the product exceeds the standard may be that the initial number of raw materials and excipients used by the production enterprise is high; it may also be that the sanitary conditions in the production and processing process are not strictly controlled; it may also be related to the lax sealing of the product packaging and the improper control of storage and transportation conditions.

In addition, the coliform project detected in the old house Tanxiang red oil curd milk produced and sold by Hunan Langshanghang Food Co., Ltd. did not meet the provisions of national food safety standards.

Coliform bacteria are one of the commonly used indicator bacteria for food contamination at home and abroad. Coliform bacteria detected in food indicate a greater likelihood of contamination by pathogenic bacteria. "GB 2712-2014 National Standard for Food Safety Soy Products" stipulates that the coliform flora in soy products should meet n=5, c=2, m=100CFU/g, M=1000CFU/g.

4 batches of samples detected food additive use problems

Among the unqualified samples, 4 batches of samples were detected to have problems with the use of food additives. Among them, 2 batches of samples were found to have sorbic acid and its potassium salt (in terms of sorbic acid) projects that did not meet the requirements of national food safety standards, namely: preserved lime fruit (fruit products) produced and sold by Hunan Dakui Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and braised beef soup (sauce and marinated meat products) produced and sold by Hunan Shengduo Food Co., Ltd.

Sorbic acid and its potassium salt are acidic preservatives, which have good bacteriostatic effect and inhibit the growth and development of mold, yeast and gas bacteria. "GB 2760-2014 National Standard for Food Safety Standards for the Use of Food Additives" stipulates that the maximum use of sorbic acid and its potassium salt in candied fruits is 0.5g/kg, and the maximum use in cooked meat products is 0.075g/kg.

In addition, the red date cake and crispy cake sold by the maixiangcun cake shop in Zhuzhou County did not meet the national standards for food safety if the residual amount of aluminum (in the sample, calculated in Al) was found.

Potassium aluminum sulfate (also known as potassium alum) and ammonium aluminium sulfate (also known as ammonium alum) are commonly used leavening agents and stabilizers in food processing, and aluminum residues are produced after use. "GB 2760-2014 National Standard for Food Safety Food Additives Use Standard" stipulates that potassium aluminum sulfate (also known as potassium alum) and ammonium aluminum sulfate (also known as ammonium alum) in cakes are used in an appropriate amount according to production needs, and the residual amount of aluminum ≤ 100mg/kg, (dry samples, measured in Al). The reason why the amount of aluminum residue exceeds the standard may be that in order to improve the appearance and taste of the product, individual enterprises use aluminum-containing additives in excess of the limit in the production and processing process, or the aluminum content in the compound additives used is too high.

3 batches of samples detected quality index problems

Among the unqualified samples, 3 batches of samples were detected with quality index problems. Among them, the peroxide value (in terms of fat) detected by the peroxide value (in terms of fat) produced by Hunan Meiweijia Food Co., Ltd. sold by the Xiyin Food Business Department of Yuhua District, Changsha City did not meet the provisions of the national food safety standards.

The peroxide value (in terms of fat) mainly reflects whether the oil in the fried food is oxidized and deteriorated. "GB 19300-2014 National Standard for Food Safety Nuts and Seeds Food" stipulates that the maximum limit value of peroxide value (in terms of fat) in cooked nuts and seed foods (except cooked sunflower seeds) is 0.5g/100g.

In addition, the residual chlorine (free chlorine) detected in meishan ice spring packaged drinking water produced and sold by Xinhua Meishan Ice Spring Pure Water Co., Ltd. does not meet the provisions of national food safety standards.

Residual chlorine (free chlorine) refers to the amount of chlorine remaining in the water after disinfection with chlorine. Its role is to ensure continuous sterilization and to prevent water from being re-contaminated. "GB 19298-2014 National Standard for Food Safety Packaged Drinking Water" stipulates that the residual chlorine (free chlorine) in packaged drinking water should be ≤ 0.05mg/L. The reason for the excess of residual chlorine (free chlorine) in packaged drinking water may be that the production process control of the enterprise is not strict or the production process level is low, and the content of residual chlorine (free chlorine) cannot be effectively controlled; it may also be that the water source is polluted and the enterprise uses a large amount of chlorine to disinfect.

In addition, the coconut juice plant protein drink produced and sold by the nominal Changde Golden Orchard Science and Technology Food Co., Ltd. was found to be protein-based and did not meet the national standards for food safety.

For the unqualified food found in the sampling inspection, the Hunan Provincial Market Supervision Bureau has responsibly the market supervision departments of Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Changde, Yueyang, Shaoyang, Chenzhou, Loudi, Huaihua and other places to organize verification and disposal, urge food producers and traders to take measures such as removing shelves, sealing, recalling unqualified products to control risks, and strictly deal with violations of laws and regulations in accordance with the law; and promptly disclose the risk prevention and control measures and verification and disposal taken by relevant food producers and traders to the public.
