Shaanxi people know Zhou solstice, which is one of the oldest counties in Shaanxi Province, with the county name alone for more than 2,000 years.
In the previous Zhou Solstice, it was difficult to write, and in the Tang Dynasty Li Jifu's geographical chronicle "Yuanhe County Chronicle", it is explained in this way: "Mountain Qu Yue, Water Qu Yue Kui." Shaanxi's Luotuo County, its mountains and rivers are restored, because of the name '盩厔'. ”
The two words look cumbersome, and the inside is rich in chapters. 盩 is pronounced the same or similar to Zhou, and is both a word used in the Blood Covenant Oath and a substitute word for Zhou, and 厔 is synonymous with the room, that is, the meaning of Enze Hanhe.
In September 1964, the state's "Simplified Chinese Characters General Table and Schedule" stipulated that 盩厔 should be replaced by the homophone "Zhou Zhi".
Zhouzhi is bordered by the Qinling Mountains in the south and Weishui in the north, and the mountains with heavy mountains account for the vast majority, including mountains, rivers, mountains and beaches. Although this place is mountainous, it does not lack the aura of water, and the annual runoff of 15 rivers in the territory is 1 billion cubic meters, which is the main water source of Xi'an.

Zhouzhi agriculture has distinct characteristics, and has initially formed a tourism belt along the mountains in the south, a kiwi economic belt in the middle, and a vegetable and flower belt along the wei in the north. In particular, kiwifruit is developed as a county industry, becoming the largest kiwifruit production base county and the only kiwifruit standardized management demonstration county in the country.

Here Louguantai is the place where Lao Tzu taught the Tao Te Ching, and the Taoist leader of Louguantai, Ren Farong, came from the countryside of Tianshui and was the former president of the National Taoist Association.
Bai Juyi, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, wrote the "Long Hate Song" here when he was a county lieutenant in Zhou Zhi, which has become the cultural root of Zhou Solstice. The late Ming and early Qing philosopher Li Yan [yóng], together with Sun Qifeng and Huang Zongxi, called the three great Confucians of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and called himself "Erqu", because his hometown was the town of Erqu in Zhouzhi County.
Zhou Solstice is also the hometown of Zhao Gongming, the god of wealth in China, which can be called the center of financial resources, and in recent years, it has created China's first water street, which has become a new highlight of the county because of its antique architectural features.
It may be that the "old state" temperament, which is confined to a thick culture and tied hands and feet, seems out of place under the torrent of a fully open market, and although Zhou Zhi is the western gate of the provincial capital city, it seems to be gradually out of place and appears lonely.
