On October 15th, the 5th Qingyang Secondary School Students Games was successfully concluded, and the Zhenyuan County delegation won the fourth place in the overall score of the men's team, the third place in the overall score of the women's team, and the third place in the city in the overall score of the team in nine major competitions.
According to the arrangements of the Municipal Education Bureau and the Municipal National Fitness Center, the Fifth Middle School Students Games have a total of 9 major sports and 66 small events such as basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, Go, athletics, aerobics, and martial arts. The first phase of the Games was held in the Qingyang Affiliated School of Beijing Normal University, the Greenland Sports Park in the south of the city, the Municipal National Fitness Center, and the Qingyang No. 1 Middle School, and the second phase of the competition was held in Longdong College. On October 12, a grand opening ceremony was held at the Municipal Gymnasium. Our county forms a delegation of 175 athletes, coaches and staff to compete in all events.
Schools attach great importance to it and provide great support for athlete training and competition. Most of the athletes are from Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School, and athletes from Zhenyuan Middle School, Tunzi Middle School, Zhenyuan Vocational College, Chengguan Junior High School, Pingquan Middle School, Sancha Middle School, Mengba Middle School, Xinghua Junior High School, Fangshan Nine-Year School, Pingquan Junior High School, Zhongyuan Junior High School and other schools have also been selected to participate. The centralized training points are located in Zhenyuan Middle School, Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School, Zhenyuan Vocational College, Chengguan Junior High School and Tunzi Middle School, and the coaches and athletes have endured hardships and stood hard work, stubbornly worked hard, overcome all difficulties, actively prepared for the battle at the expense of holidays, and achieved excellent results in the competition. In the 66 minor competitions, a total of 29 individual events entered the city's top three, and 7 individual events won the first place in the city, namely: Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School Student Aerobics Aerobics Pedal Team, Aerobics Men's Single, Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School Student Chen Xiaoyun Women's 400 Meters, Women's 800 Meters, Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School Student Jia Jianrong Men's 1500 Meters, Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School Student Hu Rui Women's 200 Meters, And Go Women's Team. Wang Yifan, a student of Zhenyuan Middle School, won the first place in the city in the Go competition, and Li Xujie of Pingquan Middle School and Zhang Guibin of Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School broke the city records in the men's long jump preliminary final and the men's 110m hurdles preliminary competition respectively. The badminton team and the men's soccer team won the Sportsmanship Award. In the final team competition, women's basketball won the first place in the team, women's volleyball, aerobics, and Go won the second place in the team, and women's football, men's basketball, men's volleyball, and athletics won the third place in the team. Li Yiting of Zhongyuan Junior High School, Chang Bo of Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School, Jia Fei and other 16 athletes were rated as outstanding athletes in the city, Liu Hong of Zhenyuan Vocational College, Li Qiong of Pingquan Middle School, Yang Fan of Miaoqu Central Primary School, Han Gang of Fangshan Central Primary School, Chen Wenting and Chen Aiping of Zhenyuan No. 2 Middle School, Du Xiaolong and Liu Baohui of Zhenyuan Middle School were rated as excellent coaches.
Looking at the Games, the advantages of the ball sports in our county are obvious, ranking second in the city, and the athletics, badminton and martial arts projects are relatively weak, and the gap with other counties and districts is large. This sports meeting is not only a comprehensive appearance and review of the city's school sports work, but also a military training and mapping for the preparation of the city's Fourteenth Games next year, which will play a strong role in promoting the healthy and sustainable development of school sports work. It is hoped that all schools can take this games as an opportunity to fully implement the national curriculum plan, continue to deepen the curriculum reform, vigorously strengthen education and teaching management, implement the requirements of sunshine sports, prepare in advance, step up training, actively participate in the county's primary and secondary school ball games, make a good talent reserve for the city's Fourteenth Games, further improve the effectiveness of sports work, and promote the development of school sports work to a higher level.
