According to a number of foreign media reports, former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has signed a multi-year contract with WWE.
ESPN reported that Villasquez's contract was very lucrative, and he himself informed UFC executives that he had decided to officially retire from the octagonal cage. With an overall MMA of 14-3, Villasquez has won the UFC heavyweight title twice, one of which was from Brock Lesnar.
WWE also announced today that in the Saudi Arabian Crown Competition held on November 1, Beijing time, Villasquez will compete for the WWE title of Brock Lesner, while Tyson Fury will be singled out by Braun Strowman.
However, it is reported that Tyson Free's WWE tour is just a "hammer deal", and he will return to the boxing ring the next year to fight Wild.
