Su Wei introduced that in the first three quarters, China's economic situation continued to recover and develop, despite the epidemic, the gross domestic product increased by 9.8% year-on-year, of which the third quarter increased by 4.9% year-on-year. The Consumer Price Index rose 0.6% year-on-year, with a 0.8% increase in the third quarter. The number of new jobs in cities and towns reached 10.45 million, and the urban survey unemployment rate was roughly 4.9% in September, and the average was 5.2% in January-September. Foreign exchange reserves remained at $3.2 trillion at the end of September. From the perspective of production supply, the situation of agricultural production is relatively good. The growth of industry and service industries is also generally stable. The production of important agricultural products such as grain is stable and improving, summer grain and early rice have achieved increased production, the output of pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry meat is also growing, and the supply of eggs, milk, vegetables and fruits in the market is very sufficient.
Su Wei said, "Next, there will be many opportunities and opportunities for economic and social development. From the perspective of demand, with the acceleration of the construction of a new development pattern and the in-depth promotion of the strategy of expanding domestic demand, China's economic cycle will be further smoothed, and the demand potential will continue to be released.
