Another heavyweight movie deal for Apple is nearing completion. Apple Original Films is wrapping up the global rights acquisition of the film Argylle, the next film directed by Matthew Vaughn, director of the Ace Agent series and produced at his MARV studio. The transaction value of a single film will reportedly be close to $200 million, and Apple hopes that the film can be turned into a movie series like "007".

Based on the spy novel of the same name by upcoming writer Ellie Conway, the film tells the story of the world's greatest spy embroiled in a global adventure. Conway's debut thriller is scheduled to be released in 2022 by Transworld Publishers Ltd, a subsidiary of Penguin Random House.
The two sides finalized the deal for Argyle on Wednesday. Director Vaughn said he is "excited to partner with Apple to bring the most engaging spy thriller I've ever read to the only media cloud platform that can create a film series of this scale and quality for a global audience." ”
Argyle is starring Brian Cranston (Breaking Bad), Samuel Jackson (Commissioner Fury of the Avengers), Henry Cavill (Superman of Man of Steel), Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Catherine O'Hara, and John Senna (Heena Zhao).
