The name T-ara is derived from the English "Tiara", which refers to the "queen" who wants to become the "queen" of the ballad world. In 2009, T-ara officially debuted as a 6-member group, and released her debut Korean-language regular album Absolute First Album in the same year. On September 28, 2011, T-ara released the Japanese single "Bo Peep Bo Peep" to debut in Japan. In 2012, T-ara released her debut japanese-language album Jewelry Box. On June 14, 2017, T-ara released the mini album "What's my name", and in June, Li Zhiya and Yang Zhiyuan withdrew from the group due to personal reasons.
