Recently, "Mosaic China - Mosaic Art Invitation Exhibition Beijing" was exhibited at the CAFA Art Museum, which is the seventh stop of the national tour exhibition after being exhibited at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in October 2017. As the final station of the national tour exhibition, the exhibits of Beijing Station expand from the original single flat form to three-dimensional and spatial, from the huge mosaic painting to the extremely subtle micro-inlaid jewelry. Chinese mosaic art has gradually been applied to mural painting since the 1960s, especially in the 1980s, when a number of mosaic mosaic murals with high artistic quality appeared. But since then, the artistic function of the mosaic has gradually been forgotten, mainly used as a building decoration material. The main purpose of this exhibition held by the Mural Art Committee of the China Artists Association is to show the possibility of various mosaic crafts in artistic creation, restore the original artistic nature of mosaic, explore how to further improve the level of Chinese mosaic art, and promote the application of mosaic mosaic in the construction of public culture in contemporary Cities in China.
