A qualified JIG angler will experience the underwater structure through the process of manipulating the rod, slowly jump to the bottom in a way that is inching forward, control the movement of the fishing group with the strength of the wrist, and carefully feel the objects that JIG passes through in the water, which are stones, sand, aquatic weeds or the bite of fish. In terms of operation methods, it is best not to pull JIG impetuously, but it does not mean that the bottom of the big action cannot catch a fish, but this deviates from the correct JIG operation concept.
Selection of punctuation
Using JIG for fishing, the choice of punctuation is also very dominant.
In the Northeast, fishing time is very limited each year, starting at the end of April and ending at the end of October of that year. During this time, fishing BASS was very different. Autumn is the same golden season as the pre-spawning season, and large bass eat heavily in order to overwinter, and fishing at obvious punctuation and underwater structures often has a good harvest. In winter, the water surface will freeze, and fishing enthusiasts in the northeast will have to survive the long winter and wait for the arrival of the following spring.
Matching tips
JiG collocation is diverse, according to different target fish, different temperatures, different water conditions, different weather, how to match different colors of RUBBER JIG and soft worms, while choosing what to use the tonal rod, how many pounds of thread, what kind of wheel, this is worth spending time to study the problem.
When fishing for BASS, I often use self-feeding shrimp as the tail of RUBBER JIG, and this shrimp-type soft bait is full of temptation for BASS. In the early days, I hung the shrimp directly on the hook, and it often happened when fishing: there were many bites, but the fishing group would be pulled out of the fish's mouth every time. I studied the fishing group carefully, and found that BASS bit the shrimp's body, but did not bite on the hook, so it would lead to frequent loss of mouth, so I missed a lot of good opportunities to catch fish.
Looking at the scaly shrimp, I thought about it carefully and decided to trim the shape of the shrimp. I first cut off a third of the belly of the self-entering shrimp, and then trimmed the JIG's rubber skirt to almost the same length as the hook, so that the fishing set would have a more compact shape, so that BASS could bite the hook at the first time when biting the bait, increasing the rate of fish. I threw the trimmed fishing set toward the punctuation, and soon a clear opening came. I raised my rod to sting the fish and immediately invited a 35 cm or so BASS ashore. In nearly an afternoon of fishing, my friend and I caught a total of seventeen bass tails with a trimmed RUBBER JIG! In actual fishing, you can also choose the color of JIG according to the weather and water. For example, on sunny days, you can use JIG with bright colors, because the fish look at the water surface is brown on sunny days; on cloudy days, use the NATURAL color JIG, because the fish look at the water surface is white on cloudy days. These are all routine fishing experiences, sometimes not fully applicable, but it is still necessary to determine the JIG fishing group used according to the different environments of the fishing ground and the degree of turbidity of the water body.
