Daming County's "Daoqian Street Roast Chicken" has a long history of more than 60 years, with beautiful shape, rotten and boneless meat, delicious color, fat but not greasy and other characteristics. In 1998, it was rated as a famous delicacy at the National Food Exhibition Conference, and in 2002, it was rated as a high-quality product of the Provincial Department of Commerce; Zhangxibao Town, Yongnian District, is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Grapes", with climatic characteristics and geographical advantages suitable for grape growth, ensuring the high output and excellent quality of grapes. In recent years, the grape industry in Zhangxibao Town has developed rapidly, with more than 2,000 grape growers, a planting area of more than 15,000 mu, and an annual output value of 250 million, making it the largest pollution-free grape professional production base in Southern Hebei.
In recent years, the Handan Municipal Market Supervision Bureau has given full play to its functional advantages, deeply excavated geographical indication resources, actively cultivated geographical indication trademarks, comprehensively promoted the transformation and upgrading of "Handan products" to "Handan brand", and boosted the high-quality development of the city's economy.
