In order to promote the development of the beef cattle industry and promote the increase of farmers' income, Hanzhang Township actively publicizes the excellent situation of the development of the beef cattle breeding industry and enhances the confidence of farmers in developing beef cattle breeding. With the continuous growth of the beef cattle breeding industry in the township, the township combined poverty alleviation and rural revitalization work, and introduced Yanbian Hanzhen Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. in 2020, and built the largest lake sheep breeding base in Gushanzi Village. The project covers an area of 15 hectares with a total investment of 30 million yuan. At present, the first phase of the project has been completed and put into production, and the second phase has started construction. According to Zhang Shuguo, chairman of Yanbian Hanzhen Animal Husbandry Development Co., Ltd., in order to better lead the villagers to develop the beef cattle industry, the company will build a new barn in 2022 and vigorously develop beef cattle breeding.
It is understood that Hanzhang Township, as an important livestock township in the western part of Dunhua City, after more than 20 years of industrial development, the current cattle inventory has reached 15,800 heads, and the total output value of animal husbandry has exceeded 100 million yuan. In order to further promote the development of the beef cattle industry, combined with the policies of the higher level, Hanzhang Township has also formulated a "ten million" revitalization and development plan for the animal husbandry industry, focusing on supporting modern standardized breeding enterprises based on Yanbian Hanzhen Animal Husbandry Development Co., Ltd., animal husbandry farming cooperatives based on village collectives, and the construction of standardized farmers with farmers as the unit. At the same time, it signed a financial cooperation agreement with the Hanzhang Branch of Dunhua Rural Commercial Bank to help rural revitalization, coordinate and solve the problem of beef cattle breeding funds, actively carry out door-to-door epidemic prevention services for livestock stations, effectively build ecological breeding barriers, and achieve quality and efficiency improvement of the beef cattle industry.
