On the afternoon of October 26, the signing ceremony of cooperation between Xuzhou Medical University and Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute was held in the main campus. Zhuang Zhaolin, secretary of the Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee, Zhang Ke, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone, Hu Yidong, secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute, Gao Jun, vice president, Xia Youbing, Zheng Junnian, Ji Hong, Xu Haibo, Wang Feng, Wang Renhao, Liu Shenjun, Zhang Yuqin, Lu Yajuan and Cao Junli, leaders of the school, attended the signing ceremony. On behalf of the school, Xia Youbing, secretary of the party committee of the school, expressed a warm welcome to Secretary Hu Yidong and his party, and expressed gratitude to the Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their long-term strong support to Xuzhou Medical University. He briefly reviewed the educational process of Xuzhou Medical University and introduced the school's "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan and new medical construction ideas. President Zheng Junnian introduced the basic situation of the school, and reported on the establishment plan of the Cell Drug Industry Technology Research Institute from the aspects of construction necessity, key technology products, construction infrastructure guarantee, and construction expected results. It is expected to strengthen collaborative innovation with the Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute and realize the joint construction of innovation platforms, the joint training and exchange of talents, and the industrialization of scientific research results at an early date.
Gao Jun introduced the achievements of the Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute in recent years in technology research and development, industrial development, resource aggregation, and institutional innovation. It is hoped that the two sides will deepen docking, based on talent training and traction, promote all-round cooperation in joint research and development of technology, achievement transformation, and technical services, promote the integration of industry, education and research, and achieve win-win cooperation between schools and enterprises.
On behalf of both parties, Liu Shenjun and Gao Jun signed the "Xuzhou Medical University-Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute Talent Joint Training and R&D and Innovation Cooperation Agreement".
Hu Yidong introduced the strategic development ideas of the Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute. He fully affirmed Xuzhou Medical University's initiative to integrate into local development, forward-looking layout of cell drug platform construction and industrial development, and expressed admiration for the boldness of Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to fully support the development of universities.
