In March 1935, Liu Bojian, then director of the Political Department of the Gannan Military Region, was unfortunately wounded and captured during the breakthrough of the central Soviet region commanding troops.
Liu Bojian, who was born in the military, had three sons, named "Husheng", "Leopard Sheng", and "Xiongsheng", respectively, hoping that they would have lofty ambitions and serve the country at an early date.
In prison, Liu Bojian is not afraid of severe punishment, and the most important thing in his heart is the children scattered in the homes of fellow villagers in many places.
In a desperate letter to his distant brother and sister-in-law, he wrote down the little information he knew about the child, "The leopard was fostered on a merchant boat on the river between Ruijin, Huichang, Yandu, and Ganzhou this year... Because I have no money, I have only given a few months of living expenses, and you will send people to look for them within this year, and you will not starve to death..."
