The total investment of the project is 150 million yuan, and the annual new output value is expected to be about 1 billion yuan - a few days ago, Jietaiget Steering System (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. in Haicang, Xiamen, ushered in its 15th birthday, and the production facilities such as comprehensive buildings and dormitories and new plant projects were also announced, which also means that the veteran steering equipment manufacturing enterprise will further increase capital and expand production after the annual sales exceed 5 billion yuan.

JTEKT is a Japanese-funded company established after the merger of the former Koyo Seiko and the former Toyota Koji, and is the world's top supplier of auto parts systems. Last year, the output value of JTEKT (Xiamen) Company exceeded 5 billion yuan, and it took only 26 seconds to produce a product worth more than 1,000 yuan on average, which not only became the sales champion among JTEKT's 12 Chinese factories, but also took the lead in JTEKT's global factories, and the development momentum continued to approach the main factory in Nara.

In 2005, JTEKT chose Haicang, Xiamen, to invest in the production of electric power steering systems. "At the beginning of the establishment of the factory, the company's annual output was only 240,000 units, and this year's production scale has reached 3.5 million units, which is 13 times that of that year, occupying about 20% of the market share of China's electric power steering system, and the number of employees in the company has increased from 25 to about 1,000." Recalling the 15 years that JTEKT has walked in Haicang, Ryo Fujii, general manager of JTEKT (Xiamen) Company, said proudly.

It is understood that in order to meet the company's production needs and expand the scale of production, JTEKT (Xiamen) Company applied for the first phase of the second phase of production supporting projects and new plant projects in July 2018, of which the introduction of two new production lines (RP-EPS production lines) in the new plant project is progressing smoothly. The first production line of RP-EPS has been successfully installed and debugged in September this year, is currently in the trial production stage of samples, is expected to be put into production in March next year, and the production capacity after production is 450,000 units / year; the second production line of RP-EPS has also been basically landed, (down to the fifth edition) (the first version) it is expected that the equipment will start to enter the factory in June next year, put into production in March 2022, and the post-production production capacity will be 220,000 units / year. After the mass production of the two production lines, it is expected to create 150 new jobs.
