Xining, 22 Oct (China News Service) -- A reporter learned from the State Power Investment Corporation of China (hereinafter referred to as the "Yellow River Company") on the 22nd that the first 5 MW wind turbine of the second phase of 50 MW wind power in Jingtai Hongshan, Gansu Province, was successfully hoisted, marking the successful hoisting of China's first single-machine onshore wind turbine.

According to Li Junjun, deputy chief engineer, director of the engineering department and project manager of Gansu New Energy Power Generation Company, the project is built by Gansu New Energy Power Generation Company, the project name is Gansu Jingtai Hongshan Phase II 50 MW wind power, the project has a total of 11 wind turbines, including 5 4 MW fans, 6 5 MW fans. The 5 MW wind turbine uses permanent magnet direct drive technology, with a hub center height of 100 meters and an impeller diameter of 165 meters. This is also the first and largest single-machine onshore wind turbine in China.

The Yellow River Company said that as of now, the Gansu Jingtai Wind Power Phase II 50 MW project has completed the hoisting of 4 wind turbines, and the project plans to achieve the goal of full capacity grid connection by the end of the year. After the project is put into operation, it will generate 125 million kWh of electricity per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 124,000 tons. (End)
