Huma Abedin, a longtime close aide of Hillary Clinton, writes in a new book that she was sexually assaulted by a U.S. senator who "concealed" the incident until charges against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh triggered her memory a few years later.

The Guardian reported that Abedin made a shocking description in his memoir "Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds" published next week. The Guardian was given a copy. Abedin did not name the senator or his party, nor did he provide any other clues about his identity.
