For the understanding of martial arts, since the movie "Shaolin Temple" sensationalized the world, people said that the world's kung fu out of Shaolin.
But how many teenagers have been misled into learning martial arts?
People of all ages, big and small, travel thousands of miles with their luggage to take a car to Dengfeng Shaolin to learn martial arts for a year and a half, and even some who have learned martial arts are pulled to fight in groups by the leaders next door.
After half a day of doing it, I didn't understand what martial arts were and what they were doing.
Based on this, we specially interviewed a young man from Yongjia, Wenzhou. Ask him to talk about his martial arts practice and some of his views on martial arts and kung fu.
From the age of 5, he got up at 5 o'clock every morning to practice martial arts;
At the age of 13, he starred in the movie "Self-Amusement" starring Zun Long, Li Wei, Xia Yu and Tao Hong;
At the age of 17, he participated in the martial arts performance at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games;
At the age of 20, he went to Tongji University and Fudan University to teach martial arts interest classes to his classmates;
He is Xu Chengsen from Yongjia, Wenzhou
Learn martial arts from an early age
Xu Chengsen was born in Yongjia Fenglin to a martial arts family, and his ancestors were all martial arts practitioners for three generations. At first, Xu Chengsen did not like to learn martial arts.
At that time, he got up at 5 o'clock every day and went up the mountain alone to practice the basic exercises next to the cemetery, and what could a 5-year-old child endure?
However, Xu Chengsen's father was extremely strict in this regard, "You must learn martial arts, I can't let the martial arts pulse be cut off in your generation!" That was what my father had originally expected of him.
For Xu Chengsen, his father was a fierce coach when he taught martial arts.
No matter whether it is windy or rainy, I am woken up in my sleep every morning and start practicing.
The slightest incorrect movement may be a punch and kick from the father.
Xu Chengsen said that the deepest memory is an 8-year-old practice.
A whirlwind kick in the air was not good, and the father hit him on the leg with a stick three or four centimeters thick, and the whole stick was broken on the spot, and both the mother and the grandmother were frightened.
It is precisely because of his father's strictness that Xu Chengsen has laid a solid foundation in martial arts since he was a child.
A little older, Xu Chengsen began to follow his father to teach, only 8 years old Xu Chengsen has become his father's little assistant.
At first, everyone saw the small Xu Chengsen and didn't care about him.
But his father insisted that he come forward to show it, every move and every style, one board and one glance, not losing to adults at all, so that everyone was convinced.
Maybe he also went with his father to teach everywhere, and there were many people who saw it.
A little older, when Xu Chengsen was invited to perform the Wenzhou martial arts routine in the movie "Self-Entertainment" starring Zun Long and Li Wei, Xu Chengsen also served as a martial arts stuntman and action director in the crew.
It is hard to imagine that a child who was only 13 years old at the time could already talk in front of a group of adults and talk about the essence of martial arts.
Xu Chengsen, 13, of the film "Entertain Yourself" crew, | with Zun Long Zun Long, before Jackie Chan successfully broke into Hollywood with Chinese kung fu, was already famous in Western countries and was a very famous Chinese actor in the last century.
Xu Chengsen and Xia Yu | Xia Yu, Chinese mainland actor, starred in the 1994 "Sunny Day", for which he won the best actor at the Venice International Film Festival.
Xu Chengsen and Choi Yoon-so | Choi Yoon-so, a South Korean film and television actress, met and took a photo with Seo Seong-sen in 2015 when she starred in the action movie "Fist Fighter".
Speaking of these experiences, Xu Chengsen sighed, in fact, when he was young, he also thought about giving up.
Spring, summer, autumn and winter, every day is very early to get up very early to practice, two hours in the morning, four hours in the afternoon, thunder does not move, taste the practice until exhausted, sweaty. In addition to practicing martial arts, you also have to read books, and neither of them can be left behind. But under the supervision and company of his father, he also persevered day after day.
It is precisely because of the hardships he suffered as a child that Xu Chengsen looks completely different from his peers around him.
There is no such decadent energy at all, always full of energy, full of sunshine, simply a small sun walking, everyone can't help but praise a sentence of "born well" (Wenzhou dialect means that the young man looks good, that is, including the body, more emphasis on temperament).
