Operator Finance Intern Han Shasha/Wen
Positions like CEO and chief operator are popular these days, but chief growth officers are almost unheard of in China. And it just so happens that Wang Xin, chief growth officer of WM Motors, is this title.

Before coming to Weima, Wang Xin was doing the second-hand car market, although she was a female streamer, but the marketing market experience was rich, and the shot was extraordinary, and she had a very firm career ideal and goal.
Xin Wang completed his undergraduate studies at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and then received his master's degree from Yale University, and came to WM Motor in 2019 as Chief Growth Officer, before becoming Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Uxin Group.
It is understood that Wang Xin served as the CMO of Uxin Group from 2016 to 2019, and before joining Uxin, she also had several years of work experience in Uber, and it was when she worked at Uber that she met Dai Kun, the founder of Uxin Group.
She was responsible for Uber's marketing in China and also worked as a strategy consultant with a global perspective and landscape. Although she has only worked at Uxin for three years, Dai Kun, the founder of Uxin Group, has a high opinion of her.
In the early days of Uxin's entrepreneurship, the founder Dai Kun believed that there was a shortage of Uxin marketing, and it happened that Dai Kun was also an Uber user, so he met wang Xin, and after Wang Xin told Uber about Uber's marketing ideas in China, Dai Kun was shocked by the business height of this young lady, and invited Wang Xin to come to Uxin as CMO.
Under her leadership, Uxin completed the construction of the brand from zero to one, and successfully completed the listing on the NASDAQ exchange in the United States. However, since the establishment of Uxin for ten years, it has been in a bottomless pit of losses, and the listing has not improved this situation, which is estimated to be the reason why Wang Xin left and wanted to find a bigger stage for development.
Subsequently, in May 2019, Wang Xin resigned as the chief marketing officer of Uxin Group, and on September 25, Shen Hui, CEO of WM Motors, also announced through internal email that Wang Xin, the former CMO of Uxin Group, joined WM Motor as chief growth officer and reported directly to Shen Hui.
Before Wang Xin joined WM, WM made internal adjustments, and the position of chief growth officer was newly created at the time of this adjustment, and Shen Hui's expectations for Wang Xin can be seen.
The chief growth officer may have been the invention of Coca-Cola, and in April 2017, Coca-Cola eliminated the CMO and created a new position as chief growth officer. However, in China, few companies have set up a chief growth officer, and the outside world does not know what position this is, nor does it know whether this position is the same as that of vice president, because WM Motors also has many vice presidents, and even senior vice presidents, as well as chief travel officer, chief data officer and other positions that have not been heard of in the past.
In this adjustment, Shen Hui concurrently served as the general manager of the sales company and adjusted the organizational structure of the sales company and the strategic planning center; Lu Bin, co-founder and senior vice president, served as the chief travel officer, focused on the group's travel business, led the travel business department to deepen the field of travel, and continued to report to Shen Hui. Qi Liren served as the chief retail officer, reporting to Shen Hui and being responsible for the group's new retail business.
Wang Xin's position as chief growth officer is responsible for product planning, marketing innovation and other businesses.
As the chief growth officer of WM, Wang Xin, will indeed play, especially in user thinking and cross-border marketing, she is really good at, after joining WM, she did not increase the budget of WM Motors in marketing, but achieved good market results.
However, even so, the burden on Wang Xin's body will not be too light, and the delivery volume of Weima Automobile in recent years has once been close to Weilai Automobile and Xiaopeng, and has been on the first position in the sales list of new car-making forces.
When Wang Xin left Uxin, he claimed that due to his personal career development, he hoped to have the opportunity to pursue his dreams, and he also hoped to spend more time exploring the unknown world. So can working in Weima become a place for Wang Xin to realize his dreams?
