On September 11, 2021, at 13:48, I received a notice to go to Spring Harbor for support. In the face of the epidemic, there is an unshirkable responsibility. In an instant, I was sleepy, quickly sorted out the required materials, and the hospital sent a car to take me to the city hospital meeting point. With a nervous feeling about the unknown situation ahead, he embarked on the road of support. Arriving at the Jieshan Town Government at five o'clock in the afternoon, under the arrangement of the leader, our temporarily formed team quickly changed their clothes, and each of them took a set of protective materials and set off to our first sampling point, Jieshan Lingtou Village.
After arriving at the sampling point, the crowd was already waiting for us in a long line, at this time it was getting dark and supplies were scarce. We assigned tasks as quickly as possible, sorted out the first batch of materials and equipment for collecting nucleic acids on stage, guided volunteers to register information, guided the masses to queue up in an orderly manner to collect nucleic acids, and contacted local villager cadres to implement the filling of materials. Putting on the protective clothing, we are like a bullet pushed into the chamber of a gun and immediately put into the field work. The white protective suit can't tell the difference between you and me, only responsibility. 2354 nucleic acid samples were successfully completed at 2 a.m., which was the first time our team worked together. When everyone took off their heavy protective equipment and looked at each other's comrades who were soaking wet and full of scars, everyone would smile and leave our first group photo.
After that, my friends and I have completed several rounds of nucleic acid sampling in Liucuo, Nanpu Town, Wushe Village/Happiness Community in Tuling Town, Fengxiang Village in Nanpu Town, Batou Village in Qianhuang Town, Qixia Community in Longzhen, and Tianhu Village in Nanpu Town. In the early morning of the spring harbor, under the scorching sun and in the rain, there are figures of us shuttling through, one by one, resting for a while, sleeping on the ground, overcoming the shortage of materials, and successfully completing the task. Every mission ends with a sense of accomplishment.
On September 29, Lingtou Village Seven Screening, before this I had never tried to enter the household, this day I applied to enter the household nucleic acid collection. The epidemic is ruthless, although the sampling work is hard, every time I see the mobile phone, the hospital, Corey leaders, colleagues sent a concern message, some worry about my life materials solved? Some people ask if they want to send me something? Have you eaten well? Some told me to rest more, pay attention to protection, and cheer me up...
