Perfect punishment

This is a true story, and it is a vivid example of how my predecessors taught us to "treat others with sincerity."

At that time he was a small supervisor. Work at a well-known international airport. Responsible for airline ground handling. One day, a VIP passenger checked in a pet dog. A telegram was sent from the place of origin informing them that the dog was the beloved pet of the VIP passenger and would return to Australia with its owner. The telegram specifically reminded them to take good care of them and not to lose them. He serves a world-renowned airline. The service concept of "exceeding expectations" is deeply rooted in the hearts of employees. After reading the telegram, he did not dare to be careless, and immediately instructed the members of the department to treat it with caution and assigned tasks. Even bought dog food for backup. When everything was ready, the clerk in charge of picking up the pet reported that the so-called precious dog he had received was dead.

This pays off, so take measures to solve it. It doesn't matter whether it died on the plane or after landing on the ground. Everyone talked about it, and the final agreement after the negotiation was to buy a similar pet dog. New tasks are redistributed, someone is responsible for raising money, someone is responsible for calling the pet store, someone is responsible for wrapping the body and throwing it in the garbage can... The little office was busy. Fortunately, the connection time is up to 5 hours. They have plenty of time to take care of it. Maybe God helped too, they really found a similar dog, the color is almost the same, but the tail is slightly shorter, and everyone is secretly praying to the owner not to notice this insignificant difference. After the processing, it was just enough time to send it on the plane, in addition to attention, everyone also had a little more concern. Unexpectedly, however, the next day they received a telegram of complaint.

Everyone was not willing, so they instigated the director to call the international long distance to the Australian office to inquire. The result is really ironic - the dog that was checked in by the family was originally dead, and the owner sent it back to his hometown in Australia because he loved it too much. However, my predecessors did bad things with good intentions, and did not hesitate to spend a lot of money to buy a good dog, and also disposed of the owner's really beloved famous dog, how easy is it to retrieve its body? Every time I think of this thought-provoking story, I see the sad eyes and self-reproachful looks of my predecessors.

It turns out that the so-called perfection that we have been pursuing is not in line with the laws of life from time to time. Authenticity and honesty are eternal!
