Nanjing, September 24 (China News Network) -- On the 24th, the breakdancing project of the 14th National Games opened at the Nanjing Lishui Extreme Sports Hall. This event is the debut of the breakdancing project at the National Games after joining the Paris Olympic Games and the Hangzhou Asian Games, which is another historic development for the breakdancing project.

The competition includes men's break dancing and women's break dance, divided into two major parts: qualifying and final, attracting 55 breakdancing athletes from 17 participating teams from Shanghai, Hunan, Shanxi, Liaoning, Guizhou and other places, which is also the first assembly of the top domestic break dance lineup. Before the competition day, the athletes conducted a unified physical fitness test, including 30-meter sprint, 12-minute running, vertical vertical jump, 1-minute push-up, etc. Athletes who met the physical test scores could participate.

In the qualifying round of the day, the athletes of each participating team PK in the form of 1v1battle and use the break dance scoring system of the China Dance Sport Federation to score the overall performance of the athletes. In the competition, the athletes showed their dancing skills and used solid dance skills, difficult dance moves, and distinctive movements to choreograph "moves".

The event was hosted by the State General Administration of Sport and operated by Nanjing Sidi Feiling Sports Culture. As the official competition item of the 14th National Games, the holding of this event not only reflects the development theme of the 14th National Games "All The People's Games, Walking Together with One Heart", but also creates a good time for the Hangzhou Asian Games and the Paris Olympic Games to cultivate reserve forces and select talents, and lays a solid foundation for the development of China's break dance industry.
