In recent years, Hefei International Dry Port has actively responded to the "Belt and Road" initiative, adhered to the development positioning of building a national-level China-Europe train assembly center, increased the operating density and radiation surface of trains, and actively created high-quality trains with the best timeliness, stable frequency and high product value.
Chen Feng, deputy general manager of Hefei International Inland Port Development Co., Ltd., said that since its opening in 2014, the cumulative shipment of China-Europe express trains in Hefei has exceeded 1,800 trains, and the sea-rail intermodal transport has sent more than 120,000 TEUs, achieving import and export trade volume of more than 46 billion yuan, and has connected 14 countries and reached 53 international sites.
"Since 2020, the proportion of goods in the Yangtze River Delta in the goods sent by China-Europe express trains has reached 90%, of which local products in Anhui account for more than 50%." Chen Feng introduced that as of October 18, 2021, 232 china-Europe outbound trains, 91 central European return trains, 138 central Asian outbound trains, 48 central Asian return trains, a total of 509 standard columns, an increase of 57 columns year-on-year. It is reported that Hefei has been listed by the National Development and Reform Commission as one of the 12 major inland source node cities and 23 major railway hub cities of the China-Europe express train. Hefei International Dry Port will focus on the implementation of the "4211" development strategy, namely: the creation of four national brands (dry port type national logistics hub, national multimodal transport demonstration project, national China-Europe train assembly center demonstration project, national railway port opening to the outside world first-class port), the construction of two centers (international logistics center, international trade center), the creation of an industrial cluster (Lingang industrial cluster), and the planning of a solicitation (customs real-time office).
