The Chinese edition of "Requiem" is a translation by Zhang Ping, a tenured professor in the Department of East Asian Studies at Tel Aviv University, directed by The new generation of Israeli directors Yayir Sherman, starring ni Dahong, a popular "treasure actor" and Sun Li, the heroine of "Crush on Peach Blossom Garden".
As a classic tear-jerking masterpiece, Requiem explores the relationship between life and death, telling the reflection and changes that death brings to the living.
