At that time, the Heyuan Security Brigade stationed in Pingling was ordered to come to reinforcements, but when it came to a place 5 kilometers away from Shidun Village, it watched from the bamboo forest, and then sent villagers to Longmen County for help, and there was no reply. Cornered, the villagers can only be prepared to "fight to the death".
The fierce fighting continued until 2 p.m. that day, and the stone pier fence still stood proudly. The Japanese army was ashamed and angry, and urgently dispatched the vanguard troops to move two guns, combined with mortars, light and heavy machine guns, etc., to form a fierce firepower and launch a general attack on the stone pier.

At the beginning of the attack, the Heyuan Security Brigade was coerced by the local squires and villagers to rush over, and the Japanese army mistakenly thought that a large army of reinforcements had arrived, and fled into the wilderness, and Liu Yunzhen avoided the disaster.
In the Battle of ShidunWei, a total of 15 villagers in Shidun Village were killed, 25 people were slaughtered, and 9 people were killed, of which Liu Qijing and Liu Rikui were all killed. 47 houses were destroyed and countless property was lost.
