What we can leave behind and what will be left behind is as uncertain as history. ”
Huang Haifei's "Harvest"
Huang Haifei's work "Harvest" uses red bricks, trees and ropes as materials, and hangs red bricks with knots on a tree with strong branches, symbolizing the fruitful harvest of the tree. Huang Haifei believes that "harvest" is a very abstract concept, it can sometimes be read by us, sometimes it is ignored by us, sometimes it belongs to us, but sometimes it belongs to others. Helping others to reap the harvest, so that others can enjoy the joy of the harvest, is also a sowing, and at the same time there will be another level of gain.
Li Peng's "Geometric Relations"
Li Peng's work "Geometric Relations" uses simple wood as a material, and stacks a bunch of geometric configurations on the mound. Li Peng said: "Life has obviously become very messy, and I want to find a new order to reorganize the current daily life, it is best to make it simpler." "The transparent geometric relationship in the work represents both a yearning or possibility, and a new disorder and messiness accumulated over time.
Wang Yunlei's "Climbing"
Wang Yunlei's work "Climbing" leans bamboo ladders of different lengths against the mottled city walls. According to reports, the works on display are tailor-made for the specific space of this art festival, and the materials are also taken from Yinchuan. They themselves form a huge tension with the thick natural environment of the northwest, and at the same time, with a low-key and open attitude, they practice the simple spirit of local humanities and natural environmental protection.
