Beijing, 5 Apr (Xinhua) -- The "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" national key book publishing planning project and the State Publishing Fund project "Diary of the Republic" large-scale series of books have been launched by the Henan People's Publishing House in volumes 1950 to 1965 and from 1979 to 1983.
The series of books was compiled by experts and scholars from the Central Institute of Party History and Documentation and the Institute of Contemporary China. With an innovative way of governing history and a combination of chronicles and chronicles, one volume per year records the magnificent development course of the Republic month by month, week by week, and day by day, including political, economic, cultural, military, diplomatic and other fields, including the central, local, and grass-roots levels, and systematically and informatively demonstrates the brilliant achievements of the CPC in leading the people of the whole country to unite as one, work hard, and achieve national development and construction.
Experts said that this is a large-scale series of books that reflect the history of the People's Republic of China in an all-round way, with both the hook and sinking of major events and the depiction of historical details, reproducing the feelings of those who have experienced it, and containing a large number of precious historical photos, vividly recording social changes and changes in the lives of the people, and retaining the eternal memory of the Republic in the form of text and pictures, which has important historical value, documentary value and practical significance. The publication of this book provides rich historical materials for the study of the history of the Party, the history of New China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of the development of socialism.
It is reported that the first issue of the series consists of 60 volumes (1949 to 2008), and other volumes will be published one after another.
