On June 1, 2013, the activity of "Summer of Spring Forest, Caiguo Hong • Shandong Financial Literature Collection and Writing Meeting" was held in Xiajin.
This is the third time I have walked into Xiajin, which is located in the Luxi Plain, the junction of Jilu and Luzhou, known as the "Silver Xiajin" of the thousand-year-old ancient county, to enjoy the scenery of the Yellow River Gudao Ecological Forest Park, experience the hand picking of the thousand-year-old cauliflower fruit, taste the nectarines, yellow apricots and flavor of the famous food, the cultural history and natural customs of Xiajin will have a deeper understanding.
Xiajin is not a large county in Qilu, it has a population of 520,000 and an area of more than 800 square kilometers, but its history of the county can be traced back to the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, and it was called Juan County in ancient times. During the reign of the Sui Dynasty (596 AD), it was originally called Xiajin County, which is a famous thousand-year-old county. After the founding of New China, Xiajin County has adjusted the administrative division of the county many times, and the Hebei Hengshui Special Bureau, Shandong Dezhou, and Liaocheng all had jurisdiction over the county, and in 1961, it was restored to Dezhou Special District (now Dezhou City).
All the literary friends gathered in Xiajin, naturally they should be interested in the origin of the name of Xiajin County. Among them, the word "Jin", everyone agrees, here is the ancient Yellow River ferry, is the Spring and Autumn Qi Jin Alliance of the key Jin. "Tsu" ferry port also. But no one can say the origin of the word "Xia". After some research, there are three theories: First, it was obtained because of the "land of the Summer Alliance". Xia Jin was the place where Qi and Jin would ally in the Spring and Autumn Period, and in 633 BC, The Duke Wen of Jin summoned the Qi, Song, Lu, Cai, Zheng, Wei, and Cao states to ally in Jiantu (present-day northern Zhengzhou), historically known as "Xia Meng", and qi and Jin Hui Meng could also be called "Xia Meng", and the word "Xia" should be derived from this. The second is because of the "Xia Dynasty". Ancient Ji Prefecture was the land of the King of the Xia Dynasty, and later regarded as "Summer Land", Xia Jin is located in the "Key Jin" of Ancient Ji Prefecture, and it is reasonable to call it "Xia Jin". The third theory is related to Yu Shui. Xia Jin is located in the old Yellow River Old Road, is the legend of the Yellow River guided by Dayu, also known as the Yu River, Xia Jin is located in the Yu River ferry, this is the "Yu Trace", Yu is also known as "Xia Yu", "Xia" the origin of the word can be understood.
I first knew Natsu, many years ago. I had just joined the army in 1978, and the old squad leader of the recruit company, Hikari Tatsu, was a Natsu native. Captain Tian joined the army in 1970, first serving in the 15th Airborne Corps of the Air Force, and then because the expansion of the 19th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Division of our Air Force needed to supplement the backbone of soldiers, he was transferred to our division. He was simple and loyal, had excellent military skills, and was reinstated after a long time, and his military service was several years longer than our company commander. Therefore, his comrades-in-arms have great respect for him. Because of our hometown relationship, we had more opportunities to chat, and from him I knew for the first time that there was a cotton-rich Xiajin County in the north of the mountain. The name "Silver Natsutsu" was heard from him.
The first time I walked into Xiajin was in March 2012, I passed through Xiajin on business, and I took a turn by the way to Visit Tian Guangping, an old class leader who had been separated for more than 30 years. In the autumn of 1979, shortly after our troops withdrew from the front line of the Guangxi self-defense counterattack against Vietnam, the old squad leader's lover took his children to visit his relatives in the unit. Although we have not seen each other for more than 30 years, we have been in contact in previous years, and now the two sons of the old squad leader have become a family running cars and transporting. His family planted more than a dozen acres of cotton, and also opened a shop along the street in the center of the village, specializing in cottonseed oil to subsidize the family, plus the old squad leader still has a few hundred yuan per month to participate in the war subsidy, and life is still said to be in the past. His village of Houtun is only a few miles from the Yellow River Gudao Forest Park.
With great hospitality, I followed the old squad leader and his wife to the "Qi Jin Huimeng Square" and "Mulberry Park" to take a turn. At noon, in a restaurant near the scenic spot, the old sister-in-law arranged a rich luncheon to entertain me. Although there were only a few hours of getting together before and after, it not only fulfilled my wish to visit the old squad leader, but also let me appreciate the style of the late spring of the Yellow River Ancient Road in Xiajin for the first time.
The second time I walked into Xiajin, in April 2013, Director Pei of the Shandong Creation Center and the Shandong Office of Financial Literature Magazine accompanied me to Shandong Quanlin Paper Xiajin Co., Ltd. Mr. Dong Shanchang, chairman of the company, received us warmly. Speaking of Mr. Dong, we are also old friends who have made friends with each other, that is, in October 2012, we jointly participated in the "2012 Financial Culture and Financial Literature Creation High-end Forum" sponsored by Financial Literature Magazine in Jinan Shandong Administrative College, I was the host of the forum, Quanlin Paper Xiajin Co., Ltd. was the co-organizer, Mr. Dong delivered a speech at the meeting. It can be seen from this that Mr. Dong has paid great attention to and supported the cause of financial literature. The second time I walked into Xiajin, I learned more about the production and operation of Quanlin Paper, Mr. Dong accompanied us to lunch, Mr. Dong's sincere and hospitable style, wise and rigorous management style left a deep impression on me.
This time into Xiajin, with the support of Quanlin Paper, the Shandong Creation Center organized a literary PEN collection activity.
On the evening of arriving in Xiajin, Quanlin Paper held a welcome dinner at the hotel, Mr. Dong delivered a warm welcome speech, Mr. Jia Shangeng, deputy secretary general of the China Financial Writers Association and director of the Shandong Creation Center, delivered a speech, and on behalf of the writers and creators attending the meeting, presented cultural gifts to Quanlin Paper and Mr. Dong, including "Friends of Finance" written by my old friend Mr. Zhang Zhihui, a calligrapher in Zibo City, and "The Good One Qichang" written by my colleague Mr. Zhang Desen, and "Quanyong Creek Is Far Away, Lin Maodong Liangliang Gao" written by mr. Desen, written by me and written by Mr. Desen. The large-scale calligraphy works won warm applause from everyone at the scene, and I also wrote two fan-faced paintings of "Mountains and Sunny Flowers" and "Swimming Fish Moving Green Lotus" to Mr. Dong as a souvenir.
In the early morning, I have the habit of getting up early for a walk. At 5 o'clock, I took my camera and went to the People's Park, which is across the road from the hotel.
On the tree-lined corridor, the crowd of people walking is three or three, two or two, mostly the elderly. The tall stainless steel cotton-shaped sculpture stands in the middle of the park square, and the crowd of morning exercises dance tai chi kung fu fans against the background of the four golden characters of "Cotton Rise". After a while, the county radio station's broadcast began to play on the loudspeaker on the park's tall electronic screen. There were more and more people practicing in the morning in the park, almost all the open spaces were full of people, and when the opening song of broadcast gymnastics was heard on the loudspeaker, I was a little surprised, is this not the sixth set of radio gymnastics accompaniment music released by the National Sports Commission in 1981? Although in 2011 the State General Administration of Sport released the ninth set of broadcast gymnastics, I believe that our generation is more familiar and closer to the broadcast gymnastics of the 30s.
It was a windy and cloudy day, and the sun hid behind thin clouds. Accompanied by Mr. Dong Shanchang, he walked into the middle of the dense ancient mulberry forest of the Summer Palace in the Yellow River Gudao Forest Park. The old mulberry trees that are hundreds of years old or even thousands of years old are still leafy and fruitful. The "Husband and Wife Tree" and the "Seven Fairy Trees" pin their hopes on how many beautiful dreams of Sangnong in the forest area. These ancient trees have witnessed the changes of the Yellow River for thousands of years, experienced countless wars and the test of wind and frost, and are still so tenacious and endless, gifting the people.
Speaking of the ancient mulberry trees of Xiajin, it is impossible not to mention an ancient man and an allusion:
An ancient person, is to say that the Qing Dynasty county Ling Zhu Guoxiang, according to legend, more than 300 years ago, here the Yellow River sand dunes have a huge 100,000 acres, salt and alkali everywhere, strong winds up yellow sand flying, the people are miserable. In the thirteenth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, Zhu Guoxiang, a major minister of the dynasty, was demoted to the post of Xiajin County Commandery. Taking advantage of the situation, Zhu Daren advocated that the people have a variety of fruit trees, especially mulberry trees, which can not only prevent wind and fix sand, but also increase the income of the people. Natsu's mulberries are large and full, and the juice is thick and sweet, which is the best in its kind. Today, the people here still have a longing for this Zhu Daren. It can be said that it is not difficult to be a county official, but it is difficult to be a good county official who can perceive the hunger and suffering of the people and solve problems for the people.
An allusion is the "Pick-up Of The Strange Instrument" of the Twenty-Four Filial Pieties. On the left side of the Entrance To the Summer Palace, a group of sculptures of "Cai Shun Shi Bao" were erected, which said that in the last years of the Western Han Dynasty, the people were hungry, and the Chimei Army met Cai Shun who was picking up the leaves, and asked him why the black and red were in full bloom, Cai Yue: "The black is cooked well for the old mother to eat, and the red is almost left for himself", the rebels were touched by their filial piety, not only did not rob him, but also rewarded him with white rice, cow hooves and salt.
Wandering between the mulberry forests, I sighed for this piece of songhai green waves, no matter what the natural conditions of the Yellow River, these ancient mulberry trees under the care of the owner, enduring, fruitful, this is not the hope of "silver Xiajin" and "cotton rise"?
As the saying goes, "The people take food as the sky". This time into Xiajin, the hospitable hosts entertained us in their simple and sincere way, and the industrious and simple Xiajin people created a flavor and famous food with the rich folk customs of the Northwest Lu Plain, which left a deep impression on us:

Song Lou burned, during the Qing Dynasty Tongzhi years became a tribute to the Beijing Division, once Guangxu, the Western Empress Reward silver 50 two, the layer is as thin as paper, puffed like a lamp, weighs only seven dollars, so also known as lantern fire, kite fire, tied to a line, the wind can blow off.
The famous seafood cloth bag chicken at home and abroad, raw chicken boneless, filled with shrimp, sea shellfish, fresh mushrooms and other 16 kinds of accessories, the meat is tender and fresh.
There is also a refreshing tofu skin, a mulberry ice wine with moderate sweetness and sourness...
The two days were really short, and I was deeply impressed by the beautiful Xiajin Yellow River Old Road Forest Park and the evocative flavors.
I look forward to coming to Natsu again...
