Due to the gap with their families, the two were expelled from their homes and had difficulties in making a living, and Yunniang died in poverty and illness. Where this body is, it seems to be a dream. Shen Fuyunniang returned to eternal youth in the splendid spring garden.
"Six Memories of Fusheng" is an autobiographical essay written by the Qing Dynasty Suzhou literati Shen Fu in Jiaqing thirteen years (1808), the protagonist Shen Fu recalled that he was born in the nancanglang pavilion of Gusu City, the family of the literati of the Panshi clan, the first encounter with his uncle Chen Yun, and then married as a wife, after marriage, the couple raised their eyebrows and fell in love with each other, the two did not fall into the world, good and bitter, until Yunniang died of illness, wandered away from home, and then composed "The Six Records of Fusheng", comforting the husband and wife's thoughts of life and death isolation.
For the "Six Notes of Floating Life", the predecessors once had a comment that "the fragrance is poignant, and the heart of reading is intoxicated". The famous literary scholar Lin Yutang, who published the English translation of the Six Records of Fusheng, praised reading the book for making him feel "far beyond the oppression and personal suffering of the world", and praised the heroine Yunniang as "the most lovely woman in Chinese literature". Even Lu Xun, who has always been harsh, also praised from the bottom of his heart: "Like Yun in the "Six Records of Fusheng", although he is not Xi Shi's face and his front teeth are slightly exposed, I think it is the first beauty in China." Chen Yinke, a scholar of a generation, also commented: "The literature of our country has always been scrupulous about etiquette, and does not dare to say much about the relationship between men and women, but in formal relationships between men and women, such as husband and wife, it is especially rarely involved, and the affection of building a boudoir and the trivialities of family rice salt are mostly not listed in the chapter, but only in general terms, summarized."
