As the candidates for the kmt chairman emerge, Line today also conducts an updated poll asking "who do you think is the most suitable for the KMT leader dispute," which runs from March 3 to 8.
As of about 11 a.m. on the 4th, more than a thousand people had voted on the poll, and the most suitable candidate in the minds of the people was Zhu Lilun, followed by former Kaohsiung Mayor Han Kuo-yu, and then Jiang Qichen.
The results show that Zhu Lilun ranked first with 22.89% of the support; Han Hanyu ranked second with 18.41% of the support; Jiang Qichen 17.69% followed closely behind and ranked third; the "others" chose 13.57%, ranking fourth; followed by Zhao Shaokang with 13.39%, Lian Shengwen with 8.73%, former Taipei County Governor Zhou Xiwei 3.29%, and Zhang Yazhong with 2.03%.

Lien Sheng-man, after graduating from the Faculty of Law at Fu Jen University in Taiwan, went to the United States to study and received his Ph.D. from Columbia University. After graduation, he worked for Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, GE Group and other companies.
The 51-year-old Lian Shengwen has a prominent family, his father is Lien Chan, a former deputy leader of the Taiwan region, his grandfather Lian Zhendong was a former official to the "Executive Yuan Political Council", and his great-grandfather Lian Heng was a Taiwan cultural celebrity and the author of the "General History of Taiwan".
In September 2005, Lien Shengwen began to enter politics. At the Kuomintang Party Congress that year, the 35-year-old was elected to the Central Standing Committee with a high vote, becoming a new generation of political stars in the Blue Camp.
In August 2008, Hao Longbin, then mayor of Taipei, announced that Lien Shengwen would serve as an official director of Taiwan U-Yo Ka Company, and was elected by the board of directors as chairman of the board of directors, until May 2010, when he resigned for health reasons.
On November 26, 2010, while canvassing for votes for New Taipei City Councillor candidate Chen Hongyuan, Lien Was shot in the head and rushed to national Taiwan University Hospital, where the emergency team was formed by the well-known physician Ke Wenzhe.
In 2014, Mr. Lien ran for mayor of Taipei on behalf of the Kuomintang against Ko Wen-che, who saved his life four years earlier. After losing the election, Lien Shengwen gradually faded out of the political circle.
In January 2015, Lien Sheng Wen founded the Youth Development Foundation and served as the CEO and chairman of the board.
After the defeat of the Kuomintang in the 2020 Taiwan regional leadership election, the Kuomintang think tank was also reorganized, and the new party chairman Jiang Qichen extended Lian Shengwen as vice chairman of the think tank. Even I said at the time that I hoped that the think tank would cultivate talents for the party and society in the future.
After Jiang Qichen did not "promise" to hire Lien Shengwen as vice chairman, he was changed to vice chairman of the think tank, so that Lien Shengwen had some criticisms, and then there were various "gaps" between the two of them: For example, a few days ago, Jiang Qichen planned to adjust personnel, including asking Lien Shengwen to serve as secretary general of the Kuomintang, but Lian Shengwen did not accept it, and it was rumored that Jiang Qichen's move had the intention of obstructing Lien Shengwen from running for the chairman of the Kuomintang; then, Jiang Qichen planned to share the stage with Ke Wenzhe, and did not inform Lien Shengwen until two days before the announcement.
Ran Lingxuan pointed out that Lian Shengwen did point out the long-term ills of the kmterson this time, but because Lian Shengwen's popularity in the KUOMINTang was built on his father Lien Chan, Lian Shengwen's set of declarations could really play little influence, and it was difficult to achieve the role of momentum pulling.
