On the afternoon of 27 July, on the eve of the 13th Party Congress in Xinshao County, Li Wanqian, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal PARTY Committee and secretary general of the Municipal Party Committee, went to Xinshao County to guide the preparations for the Party Congress and listen to a report by the county party committee on the preparations for the Party Congress. Chen Lixian, secretary of the county party committee, and Zhang Shijie, deputy secretary of the county party committee, attended the meeting.
The 13th Party Congress of Xinshao County was held from July 28 to 31, and the main tasks and agenda of the meeting were: to hear and examine the report of the 12th CPC Xinshao County Committee; to examine the work report of the 12th CPC Xinshao County Discipline Inspection Committee; to elect the 13th CPC Xinshao County Discipline Inspection Committee; to elect the 13th CPC Xinshao County Discipline Inspection Committee; and to elect delegates to the 12th CPC Shaoyang City Congress. In order to hold this meeting well, our county has set up 9 supervision groups for the supervision of the meeting style and discipline, and each group has arranged 4 to 5 people, who are specifically responsible for supervising the compliance of the party representatives, non-voting personnel, and staff members of the delegation with the meeting and life discipline.
After listening to a report on the preparatory work for the Party Congress, Li Wanqian fully affirmed the results achieved in the preparatory work for the 13th Party Congress in Xinshao County. Li Wanqian stressed: It is necessary to elevate our ideological standing and profoundly understand the important significance of holding the Thirteenth Party Congress well; we must make clear the objectives and ensure that the goals and tasks of the Thirteenth Party Congress and the three elections are 100 percent realized; we must take discipline seriously and ensure that a good atmosphere of clean and healthy conduct is created for the convening of the congress; and we must perform our duties and ensure that the Thirteenth Party Congress will be held with complete success.
