In terms of characteristics, the shape of the Yan body is new, the severity of the law, and the majesty of the momentum are unprecedented; from the aesthetic point of view, the dignified beauty, masculine beauty, artificial beauty, and several beauties are held at the same time, especially in later generations; from the the theory of the times, Tang Chucheng, Jin, Song Yuxu, failed to stand on its own, and as soon as the Yan body came out, the new body cast by the Tang Doutan became one of the distinctive axes of the Tang Dynasty. ”

Qiannan Garden
Qian Nanyuan (錢南園), courtesy name Feng, qianlong thirty-sixth year (1771) jinshi, was appointed to the Hanlin Academy review, successively served as a revision officer of the National History Museum, the imperial history of Jiangnan Province, the deputy envoy of the Department of Communications and Politics, the shonan xuezheng, the huguang province cha yushi, and the military aircraft.
In Qian Feng's time, all the people in the Manchu Dynasty learned Dong Qichang's calligraphy, but he had a special love for Yan Zhenqing. He admired Yan Zhenqing as a person, and he also wrote the law, and won his god without attacking his appearance, which was the first person to learn Yan.
Qian's character is both high and his learning is good, and his calligraphy and painting are even more famous in the sea. His calligraphy is considered to be the most sincere product of yan Zhenqing for hundreds of years, with dignified pen and ink, deep strength, and solemnity, and meticulous penmanship. Later, it melted Ouyang Yuan, Mi Fu and other homes into a furnace, forming its own independent style, occupying an important place in the history of calligraphy.

Tan Yanmin
Tan Yanmin served as the overseer of the two Guangdong armies, and three times served as the overseer of Hunan, the governor and the commander-in-chief of the Xiang Army, and was awarded the rank of general and the grand marshal of the army. He was the chairman of the National Government in Nanjing and the president of the Executive Yuan.
Tan's writing style changed several times, learning Zhao Songxue and Liu Shi'an when he was weak, then learning from Faru Gongxing Kai Zhimu, concurrently learning Dongwu (Yang Zhao) and Song Zen (Weng Tonggong), and after the age of thirty, he specialized in Yanshu, participated in Qian Nanyuan's penmanship, and took "Magu Xian Tan" as a daily lesson, and obtained 220 passes in his life.
Tan Yanmin wrote Yanzi advocating "the upper does not let the lower, the left does not let the right", in addition to the Xuelu Gongshu, it flooded hundreds of families, and also involved in the seal, after the age of forty, he lived in Guangzhou, and yu Gufa Ti was everywhere. Extremely indulgent, the study of life and calligraphy has changed greatly.
Tan Yanmin can be said to have basically attacked Yanshu all his life. Its calligraphy points are like falling stones, paintings are like Xia Yun, hooks are like Qu Jin, Ge is like a crossbow, vertical paintings are mostly used in hanging needles, the starting pen is calm and steady, and the setbacks are powerful, making people feel that they are rich in bones and strong in taste. A cleansing of the first book world posture, those who are insufficient, less of their own faces.

Hua Shikui
Hua Shikui, one of the "Eight Greats" of Tianjin, was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, and later moved to Tianjin. His calligraphy takes the bone of the yan character, and the courage is majestic, the bone strength is open, and the skill is very thick. The handwritten "Tianjin Persuasion Field" five-character giant plaque, with a word size of 1 meter, is vigorous and majestic, which can be described as its representative work.
Hua Shikui's calligraphy works are as small as the fly head and as large as the list books above the diameter of the ruler, and the structure is very solemn and relaxed, and it is more vigorous and upright in his later years. It ranks first among the four major calligraphers in modern Tianjin.
Fahrenheit has no ingenuity in the true, grass, subordinate, and seal bodies, and the most representative of his calligraphy style is his calligraphy works, taking the bones of the yan characters with a pen, the bone strength is open, the skill is very thick, and there is a pavilion spirit. There are many works passed down from generation to generation, especially plaques, and some calligraphy theories have had an extremely profound impact on later generations, and the way of using the pen to "mention, press, dun, frustrate, internal trembling, and external trembling" proposed is more admired by future generations.
