——Approaching "Chosin Lake" in the Eyes of Officers and Men of the Armed Police

"If we don't fight this battle, it's our next generation. We are born into death so that they will no longer fight. ”

——Excerpt from the movie "Chosin Lake"

A certain squadron of a detachment of the First Mobile Corps of the Armed Police Force is in a camp.

On the big screen, the movie "Chosin Lake" is nearing its end.

On the way to the "longest retreat" in the history of the US 1st Marine Division, they were terrified by a scene in front of them: rows of volunteer soldiers were lying prone to the position of minus 40 degrees Celsius, holding steel guns and grenades, maintaining a neat battle formation and combat posture, as if ready to jump and charge...

Unable to control his inner emotions any longer, bean-sized teardrops slid down the cheeks of the officers and men of the squadron.

This is an encounter through time and space - the predecessor of the squadron: the 5th Company of the 242nd Regiment of the 81st Division of the 27th Army of the Chinese Volunteer Army, which is one of the "ice sculpture companies" that sacrificed their lives for the country in the Battle of Chosin Lake.

Xing Zhentao, the first prize winner of the "All-Army Non-Commissioned Officer Outstanding Talent Award" and the chief of the detachment's unit management section, who walked out of the squadron, told reporters: "I do not regard "Chosin Lake" as a movie, I prefer to call these 3 words 'our position'. In this position, I saw the veterans and I saw myself. ”

It's bustling and prosperous, as you think

In the same way as Xing Zhentao, there was He Peng, the squad leader of a certain detachment of the Second Mobile Corps. It's just that for He Peng, his feelings are more specific, and the veteran he sees is his grandfather He Yuexian.

After watching the movie, the first thing He Peng did was to revisit a family letter sent to him by his grandfather.

"The combat equipment for entering the DPRK, each carrying a rifle, 100 rounds of ammunition, 4 grenades, a shovel, a dry grain bag, and a coat and a kettle, weighing about 60 kilograms..." In the family letter, Grandpa's brief description of the situation of the battle in North Korea and the scenes in the film were superimposed in He Peng's mind, and He Peng seemed to be able to see the appearance of Grandpa and his comrades-in-arms who were majestic and arrogant across the Yalu River.

Knowing that He Peng's grandfather was a veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, squadron instructor Jin Dongfang invited the old man to conduct a special "fan meeting" with the officers and men of the squadron through video connection.

"We crossed the Yalu River, enemy planes bombed us during the day, we could only march at night, camp during the day, and sleep in the wind. When I arrived in the land of Korea, I saw that my eyes were devastated..." Through video chat, the old man emotionally told the officers and soldiers about their combat experiences.

When he heard Mista, a recruit in He Peng's class, ask about "how to understand the glory of soldiers", the old man recalled the plot of writing a letter of determination on the battlefield. He said: "I wrote in the letter of determination: To add glory to the people of the motherland, to avenge the korean people, one is not afraid of suffering, the other is not afraid of death, attack like a fierce tiger, defend like Mount Tai, born for Britain, dead for the spirit." ”

An online "fan meeting" is just like a unique online micro-lesson. He Peng said that once inadvertently, I saw Mista write the words "one is not afraid of suffering, the other is not afraid of death" on the title page of the notebook.

In He Peng's notebook, he carried the family letter sent by his grandfather, from which he could see his grandfather's hope for him: lead the comrades in the class to learn political theory well, learn the military well, improve their combat ability, help each other, study together, and be as close as brothers...

In the past two days, Grandpa said that he had sent him two copies of the study materials on party history that he had transcribed by his own hands, asking him to pay attention to checking them and collecting them, and used the opportunity of the class meeting to read them to his comrades-in-arms. In the message sent by Grandpa, he repeatedly stressed: Party history must be well studied, ideological understanding must be enhanced, and the strength of struggle must be drawn.

Weekly Special 丨 A movie touched the collective memory

Compared with Peng Chunhua, instructor of the Pingxiang Detachment of the Jiangxi Headquarters, He Peng was lucky. Although Peng Chunhua also has a letter from his grandfather Peng Guidang, the paper has long been yellowed and mutilated.

At that time, when I heard people from the township government say that the state called on the vast number of young people to defend their families and resist US imperialism, my grandfather, who was already married and had children, resolutely left his family and signed up to join the army. In April 1951, Grandpa arrived in Hebei and was incorporated into the 610th Regiment of the 204th Division of the 68th Army of the Volunteer Army. Two months later, the troops marched to the Korean front.

In September 1951, the "United Nations Army" launched the Autumn Offensive, launched a fierce attack on the front line of Jincheng and Wendenli, and concentrated a large number of tanks in view of the shortcomings of the volunteer army's weak anti-tank firepower, and carried out the "tank split battle" of the tank cluster assault. They first used aircraft and artillery to repeatedly and fiercely bombard and shell the positions of the Chinese and Dprk armies, and then formed tank groups of 20 to 40 tanks to guide the infantry to carry out rapid breakthroughs along the road and the areas on both sides under the cover of aircraft and artillery fire, detouring to cut off the connection between the various defensive positions in the front of the Chinese and North Korean armies, and then the infantry occupied each high ground one by one.

At that time, the volunteer anti-tank fire was divided into 3 layers, the furthest layer consisting of field guns and mountain guns, the middle layer was recoilless guns and bazookas, and the nearest layer was anti-tank grenades and blast canisters. In other words, the closer the enemy tanks are to the position, the more types and quantities of weapons the volunteers can put into battle, the greater the density of firepower, and the higher the killing efficiency of enemy tanks.

According to Chen Jinsheng, a comrade-in-arms of his grandfather, whenever the enemy took turns bombing the highlands, the officers and men of the volunteer army went into the underground fortifications together to take shelter. As the tanks gradually approached, they quickly approached the tanks under the cover of fire. When they were about 10 meters away from the tank, they blew it up with anti-tank grenades, then used smoke screen cover to quickly evacuate, and then hit the next tank in the same way.

Relying on this kind of "close-quarters hand-to-hand" attack, Grandpa's unit fought for more than 20 consecutive days under the condition of emergency defense, unknown enemy situation, unfamiliar terrain, insufficient firepower, and incomplete fortifications, smashed the enemy's "tank splitting into battle," and created a glorious example of infantry anti-tank warfare in the history of the people's army.

When he saw the movie "Chosin Lake", interspersed with the picture of the officers and men of the 7th Company taking explosives to blow up the tank, Peng Chunhua remembered his grandfather. During a spring-summer fortification operation in April 1952, a shell fell into the volunteer camp and Grandpa fell. Before leaving for North Korea, the family letter that Grandpa had written to inform his family about the situation in the army had not yet been sent and became a suicide note. The troops sent grandpa's belongings home while sorting it out. As a result, a yellowed and mutilated family letter, a certificate of sacrifice from the Political Department of the 204th Division of the 68th Army of the Volunteer Army, and a certificate of revolutionary martyrdom became all that Grandpa left to his family.

In Peng Chunhua's memory, Grandma would always take out the objects wrapped in red cloth layer by layer and say to him: "Chunhua, your grandfather is a volunteer soldier, who fought the Yankees, and is a hero!" The red seeds thus took root and sprouted in Peng Chunhua's heart.

In 2013, Peng Chunhua, who graduated from high school, resolutely applied for the military academy. When he first came home in his military uniform, Grandma said it was as if she had seen Grandpa when he left home. Peng Chunhua knew that from the moment he put on the military uniform, he and his grandfather were not only relatives, but also cross-century comrades-in-arms.

How Peng Chunhua wished that Grandpa could see the military uniform he was wearing, thick and warm, would never be cold again. As written on the poster released on the official Weibo of the movie "Chosin Lake": Now it is prosperous and prosperous, as you think.

Weekly Special 丨 A movie touched the collective memory

When Mu Qing, the fourth-class sergeant major of the Seventeenth Squadron on duty of the Second Detachment of the Shanghai Headquarters, took home his newly issued Type 17 combat boots at that time, Grandpa Mu Zhigen held the shoes, looked left and right, and bluntly said that he did not dare to think about it at all.

Ever since Mu Qing remembered, there has been a pair of shoes on the shoe cabinet at home. It was dilapidated and covered with the marks of thorns. But it is such a pair of shoes, every year on the founding day, Grandpa will always wipe it and tell Mu Qing and his father the story of that pair of shoes again...

Mu Qing's grandfather participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea and was a veteran of the 337th Regiment of the 113th Division of the 38th Army of the Volunteer Army. Grandpa said that when they were ordered to attack Songbone Peak at night, when they rushed to the position overnight, his shoes stepped on an iron nail, the sole of the shoe broke a big hole, and the blood on his feet was not stopped. At this time, Grandpa's old squad leader took off his shoes and let him put them on. "If it weren't for these shoes, it is estimated that my life would have been given to Song Bone Peak." Wearing these shoes, even if it is a few tens of degrees Celsius below zero, the water of the snow nest is poured straight into the shoes, but my heart is warm. Grandpa recalled the scene, and tears flashed in his eyes. All he could talk about was the warmth of his comrades, but he never mentioned the pain of his big toe being cut off at the end of the battle due to severe frostbite.

Influenced by his grandfather, Mu Qing's father just turned 18 years old and joined the army with honor. When Mu Qing was a child, his father would often tell him stories about participating in the border self-defense counterattack war. Listening to my father, in order to prevent the hidden sharp objects in the jungle from piercing their feet, the rubber shoes at that time were all equipped with 4 layers of thick bottoms, and in the hot climate, these shoes made the soldiers extremely uncomfortable.

In 2005, Mu Qing joined the army, and the Type 99 training shoes on his feet made him extra "pull the wind" when he returned home from vacation. When the 07A type training shoes are distributed to the troops, the dry and breathable mesh cloth, the sole designed with rubber grooves, Mu Qing directly calls out the experience "full score".

Next to the shoe cabinet, Grandpa neatly stacked generations of military shoes, and said "The motherland is strong." In Grandpa's heart, these shoes are like witnesses of time, witnessing an army from poorly equipped to well-equipped, witnessing a nation from poor and weak to prosperous and strong.

Revolutionary friendship is itself a fighting force

Testimony, what a common word, each of us, witnessing everything in this world all the time.

For the veterans of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, these two words are the wishes that their sacrificed comrades-in-arms can never achieve.

When he saw the death of Lei Gong, the platoon leader of the artillery platoon of the 7th Company, in the movie "Changjin Lake", and the company commander Wu Qianli hid behind the car alone, tearful and trembling, pulled out the roster in his arms, Lei Tiefei, a reporter at the News and Culture Workstation of the Political Work Department of the Ningxia General Corps, came up with the figure of a veteran in his mind.

It was the mid-summer of 2020, and after driving for more than 40 minutes on the bumpy and muddy mountain roads of Liupan Mountain, Lei Tiefei finally arrived at Xizhuang Village, Pingfeng Township, Xifeng Town, Xiji County, Guyuan City, where Yin Guojun, an old man in his nineties, lived.

This veteran who "broke his wrist" with the US military on the Korean battlefield is still a veteran in his old age.

Seeing people in military uniforms coming home, Yin Guojun quickly opened the conversation box as if he were seeing his relatives. He said that he had successively served as a soldier in the machine gun company of the 20th Regiment of the 7th Division of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and a squad leader and deputy platoon leader of a certain unit of the Volunteer Army. Then, he said that the defended position was in a mountain adjacent to Shangganling, and the officers and men lived in the air raid shelters hewn out of the mountain with steel brazes, and whenever they encountered aircraft bombardment, they had to use wood against the roof of the air raid shelter to prevent collapse; they ate without eating, and sometimes they could not eat a meal for several days; in the summer, the air raid shelter was humid and hot, and only a pair of underwear was still covered with prickly heat, not only to endure mosquito bites, but also to be often scratched by the barbed wire on the position; in winter, the cave was cold and bone-chilling, and all the clothes were wrapped around the body. The hands and feet were still frozen unconscious...

When asked about the battle, the old man was silent.

Lei Tiefei clearly saw that Yin Guojun, who refused to open his mouth for a long time, had tears flashing in his eyes.

The old man's son, Yin Weihua, took over the conversation at the side: "My father lost many comrades in the battle, and he often said that he was lucky to survive. Daughter-in-law Han Pingcui also said: "Dad always said that he had a big life, although the bullets flew on the battlefield, he was never injured." ”

Yin Weihua continued: "My father told us at that time that there are more planes in the US military than mosquitoes in the summer, and they come to bomb from time to time. On one occasion, enemy planes flew over and dropped many bombs, blowing up the mountain and burying more than 30 comrades in arms. Later, when everyone dug up the buried comrades, they had all stopped breathing..."

The old man did not want to mention the battle, because in every battle there were comrades who died; he did not want to mention his own battle achievements, because he felt that he did nothing compared to the comrades who sacrificed. When Lei Tiefei wanted to know the story behind the old man's third-class meritorious certificate, "The squad leader Yin Guojun commanded effectively and led the whole class to successfully complete the task", the old man only said lightly: "Every time the American devils rush up, they will hit them fiercely with machine guns, and they can kill more than a dozen at a time..."

As he was leaving, the old man took out a yellowed war diary. The tough old man's hands trembled uncontrollably as he flipped through the diary. It turned out that the diary recorded the names and home addresses of the old man's comrades-in-arms, and the old man still maintained correspondence with the surviving comrades-in-arms. And many more of these names have long remained in those war-torn years...

As in the movie, Lei Gong said before he sacrificed, "Pain, pain to death!" Don't, don't leave me alone here. Lei Tiefei knew in his heart that the old man must have also held the hand of his comrade-in-arms at the time of his death and told the other party, "I will take you home." ”

Lei Gong did not go home.

Zhu Zaibao, a veteran of the artillery sequence like Lei Gong, returned home.

Weekly Special 丨 A movie touched the collective memory

On October 13, representatives of officers and men of the Yueyang Detachment of the Hunan General Brigade came to Zhu Zaibao's home.

The 93-year-old man's voice was loud and his thinking was clear, and as the old man spoke, the thoughts of the officers and men returned to the last battle of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea: the Battle of Jincheng.

On July 13, 1953, in order to obtain accurate coordinates and assist the rear artillery to shoot, Zhu Zaibao, as the commander of the reconnaissance squad of the artillery regiment of the 47th Division of the 16th Army of the Volunteer Army, was ordered to lead 5 reconnaissance and signal troops to advance together with a force of more than 1,800 people.

"At that time, we were facing well-equipped elite troops, the defensive positions were strong, and the enemy's front line was covered with mines within 500 meters, which was very dangerous." Zhu Zaibao recalled, "When advancing forward, every step was stepped on the body of a sacrificed comrade- In order to break through the enemy's defenses, more than 1,800 warriors whizzed through the mines, ensuring that tens of thousands of troops could safely advance deep into the enemy.

During the mission, Zhu Zaibao's right leg and knee were hit by landmine fragments, and the skin and flesh exploded, and the blood flowed. He said: "At that time, my right kneecap was exposed, but at that time I didn't feel any pain at all, and there was only one belief in my mind, that is, to complete the task. ”

After reaching the target area, Zhu Zaibao accurately measured the coordinates, marked the target to be attacked on the map, and transmitted the data back to the artillery headquarters by radio, and the artillery successfully took an enemy artillery position and a tank assembly area. For his heroic performance in battle, Zhu Zaibao was approved as a reserve member of the Communist Party of China, joined the party in the line of fire, and was awarded the "National Independence Medal" by the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

When the memory was pulled back from the glory years of many years ago, Zhu Zaibao said with deep feelings: "My life was bought with the lives of my comrades-in-arms. I am determined that as long as I live one day, I will be worthy of my comrades-in-arms who are buried in a foreign country, inherit their legacy, and pass on their spirit. ”

Weekly Special 丨 A movie touched the collective memory

Also in order to inherit the spirit of sacrificing comrades-in-arms, on the eve of the anniversary of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Liu Dengyi, a veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, walked into the camp of a detachment on duty in the Chongqing Headquarters to tell officers and men about the unforgettable years.

"I was born in January 1939, put on my military uniform at the age of 11, and served as a propagandist, hygienist, and correspondent..." When I heard that the old man crossed the Yalu River at the age of 12 and entered the Korean War, the officers and men were surprised, and they could faintly hear someone whispering: "Just like Wu Wanli in "Chosin Lake", he is a baby soldier!" ”

Whether it is the 18-year-old Wu Wanli, a soldier of the 7th Company in the film, or the 12-year-old Liu Dengyi in reality, they are also children, and they gradually grow up on the battlefield.

Just as Wu Wanli met the "Lei Dad" interspersed with the mouths of the officers and men of the 7th Company, Liu Dengyi also met many people like "Lei Dad".

Liu Dengyi talked about company commander Liu Kehuai.

The 9th Artillery Regiment of the 15th Army of the Volunteer Army wanted to cross the Cheongcheon River at night. The Cheongcheon River ferry is about 700 to 800 meters wide, the water is deeper than waist, the water is turbulent, and if you are not careful, you may be in danger of being swept away by the river. Because he was the youngest and shortest, and the river water had almost passed his chest, Liu Dengyi felt that it was even difficult to breathe, and he could only move in the water with difficulty. Just at this moment, the artillery vehicles of the 1st Company also came to cross the river. Liu Kehuai, the commander of the 1st Company, was a combat hero in the Liberation War, and when he saw this scene, he involuntarily carried me on his back at once, and then went to command 4 artillery vehicles to cross the river. Liu Dengyi said that when the troops crossed the river, when he was ready to thank Liu Kehuai, he found that Liu Kehuai and his company had disappeared into the night.

Liu Dengyi talked about the class leader Song Dabao.

Due to the large reduction in combat in the five battles, the regimental headquarters decided to add all the propagandists to the front line of the operation. Out of consideration for Liu Dengyi's training and training, the regiment sent him to Battalion 1 as a correspondent. On the day of registration, Wang Shoude, an instructor of the 1st Battalion, after learning about the fighting situation after Liu Dengyi entered the DPRK, called Song Dabao, the leader of the communications squad, and said to him: "This is the youngest comrade-in-arms of our whole regiment, and it will be handed over to you today, and you should take good care of him." Since then, Song Dabao has taught Liu Dengyi to ride horses and shoot guns during the day, how to use terrain and features to cover himself when enemy planes suddenly attack, and how to accompany Liu Dengyi to stand guard at night and teach him how to judge the invincibility and how to deal with it. Between battles, the two also learn culture together. Because Liu Dengyi had attended elementary school, Song Dabao would respectfully call him "Little Mr." And often asked Liu Dengyi about words that he could not read or could not understand. Speaking of this, Liu Dengyi said with some embarrassment: "Even if sometimes I mispronounce the words and interpret the meaning wrongly, out of trust in me, the Dabao class leader always nods his head and silently remembers at the same time." ”

……

Liu Dengyi also talked about many people. When in the propaganda team, the big sisters in the team would sew underwear for him with the flares they had picked up and the parachutes he had picked up so that he could wear suitable clothes; after transferring to the 1st battalion, Wang Shoude was afraid that he was frozen, so he specially took off the sweater he was wearing close to and removed it, and asked a North Korean aunt to knit a sweater for Liu Dengyi...

On that day, Liu Dengyi emotionally told one warm story after another that occurred in this cruel war on the stage. He said, "At that time, the affection of my comrades-in-arms warmed my body, and after many years, their affection still warmed my heart." ”

On that day, officers and soldiers had a deeper understanding of the term "comrade-in-arms." Li Shun, deputy commander of the 14th "Top Ten Loyal Guards of the Chinese Armed Police" and the three major teams on duty of the detachment, said: "In a certain sense, revolutionary friendship itself is a kind of combat effectiveness. Wang Kaikai, the third prize winner of the "Outstanding Talent Award for Non-Commissioned Officers of the Armed Police Force" and the fourth-level sergeant major of the eighth squadron of the detachment on duty, said more bluntly: "We are as close as brothers in peacetime, and we are dependent on each other in wartime for life and death." ”

Always be the cutest person

Speaking of the word comrade-in-arms, Wen Aochen, a senior soldier of the Ninth Squadron of the Duty Detachment of the Hubei General Duty Detachment, remembered his "old comrade-in-arms", Chai Yunzhen, a first-class combat hero, a special meritorious hero of the Volunteer Army, and the winner of the "First Class Independence Freedom Medal" and the "July 1st Medal".

In the battle of Park Dafeng, Chai Yunzhen led the whole squad to destroy one enemy command post, conquered 3 enemy-occupied hills, and annihilated more than 200 enemy troops.

In order to inherit the red gene and continue the blood of the heroes, the squadron gave full play to the advantages of red resources and formed the "Chai Yun Zhen Class". Wen Aochen, who enlisted in the army in 2020, is the soldier of the "Chai Yun Zhen Class".

When watching the movie "Chosin Lake", I saw that Wu Wanli was asked by the commander of the three battalions to ask "what is it called", but he answered with "677th, Wu Wanli", and a number was blurted out next to Wen Aochen's mouth.

969, Wen Aochen was the 969th soldier of the "Chai Yun Zhen Class", and this number was like Xu Sanduo's unthinking shouting "I am the 4956th soldier of the Seventh Steel Company", which has long been deeply engraved in Wen Aochen's heart.

In fact, the reason why Wen Aochen came to serve as a soldier was largely influenced by the military-themed TV series "Soldier Assault".

He clearly remembered that in the play, at the ceremony of joining the company in many places, Wu Liuyi once introduced the history of the "Seventh Company of Steel": "During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, almost all of the 'Steel Company' was killed and cancelled, but the 3 soldiers who were covered by the whole company returned with nine deaths. They brought back the last wishes of 107 martyrs and rebuilt the 'Steel Seven Company' on these 3 young people with an average age of 17 years old, and the 'Steel Seven Company' will live with their martyrs forever. ”

At that time, Wen Aochen could not have imagined that in the future, he would become a member of the company like the "Seventh Steel Company" in the play, the predecessor of the squadron, the 3rd Battalion and 8th Company of the 134th Regiment of the 45th Division of the 15th Army of the Volunteer Army, in the world-famous Battle of Shangganling, fighting for 43 days, holding the tunnel for 14 days and nights, and finally with only 9 people left, the battle flag covered with 381 bullet holes was planted on the main peak of Shangganling.

The battle flag has been flying for more than half a century, and today, it still guides every officer and soldier of the squadron forward.

Yu Peihai, the current squad leader of the "Chai Yun Zhen Class," won the title of "Star of Military Sports" at the headquarters military sports games for two consecutive years; Yu Xuwen, the leader of the sixth squad, won the first place in the comprehensive results of the "peak" special combat reconnaissance major of the corps; zheng Baoda, the deputy squad leader of the first squad, broke the corps record in the "record-setting, being a pacesetter" competition of the headquarters and won the good result of the all-around championship of the duty detachment.

"Only blowing the charge trumpet, not retreating", the officers and men of the squadron can not only see it in ordinary times, but also stand up and rush forward at critical moments.

At the beginning of the year of Gengzi, the sudden new crown pneumonia epidemic swept through Jiangcheng. On the evening of the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, the squadron received instructions from its superiors to dispatch troops to help the garrison rush to transport epidemic prevention equipment and materials. After receiving the notice, the officers and men of the squadron asked for battle one after another: "Charge, this is the responsibility of a soldier." "I'm a soldier, I don't go up to anybody." ...... A letter of invitation with a red handprint was handed over to the party branch of the squadron, and 10 party members even stepped forward to form a commando team and rushed to a key hospital to undertake the task.

Zhang Changsheng, a member of the mission and deputy squad leader of the squadron, said frankly when recalling the situation at that time that he would also be afraid, but remembering the solemn oath he had made in front of Chai Yunzhen's bronze statue to "dedicate his strength to the party and the country", he suddenly felt his blood stirring in his heart.

Wen Aochen said that his most memorable moment was the scene of the new soldier's induction ceremony. On that day, he also set a goal: to be a well-deserved "Chai Yun Zhen style" good warrior.

Weekly Special 丨 A movie touched the collective memory

Like Wen Aochen, Ma Zhenjie, who is also a fan of the "Soldier Assault" drama, is on duty in the 20th rank of the six detachments of the Beijing Headquarters, and when he watched the movie "Changjin Lake", the song of "Seven Steel Companies" echoed in his ears: "A thunderbolt and a sword, a group of fierce tigers 'Steel Seven Companies'." The will of steel is iron man, and the iron blood defends the country and protects the homeland. The sound of killing frightens the enemy's guts, and the famous battle is passed on. Attack must be conquered, defended must be strong, stepping on the bones of the enemy and singing triumph. ”

When he was a child, watching the induction ceremony of many three teams, Ma Zhenjie heard the continuous song of "Seven Steel Companies" for the first time, and he involuntarily followed it. At that time, he did not know that there would be a song in the future, which would shock him like the song of "Seven Steel Company".

Recalling the scene on the first day of the recruits' disbandment, Ma Zhenjie said that the first room the recruits entered was the honor room, and the first song they learned was the squadron song that had been sung for 70 years.

Under the introduction of instructor Liu Yingjian, Ma Zhenjie learned that the predecessor of the squadron was 2 companies of the 1st Battalion of the 594th Regiment of the 198th Division of the 66th Army of the Volunteer Army, and had been awarded the honorary title of "Great Meritorious Company" three times. In February 1951, the 2nd Company was ordered to go to Wuyin Mountain to block the attack. After the battle began, shells flew wildly, rubble splashed around, the mountain was cut down by more than 1 meter, and the officers and men of the whole company fought bloodily to repel the enemy's attack for 10 consecutive times. In the meantime, in the battle for the 203 heights, The group leader Wang Rong led 3 fighters to hold their positions for three days and three nights, repelling 32 enemy charges. At the end of the battle, the whole company killed more than 500 enemy people, only 11 of the 178 officers and men of the whole company were left, and 167 commanders and fighters, including Wang Rong, died heroically. After the battle, the company recorded a great merit, and Wang Rong was posthumously recorded as a special merit. The song "The Mountain of Steel of the Hero's Position", which was composed for this battle, has become the team song that has been sung to this day. The four battle flags dyed red with blood, such as "Steel Fortress" and "Holding The Position", have also become the spiritual wealth passed down from generation to generation by the officers and men of the squadron.

The squadron is responsible for the vigilance and prevention and control of the checkpoints around Beijing. At first, the checkpoint facilities were old and the environment was harsh, with 16 people living in board houses of less than 30 square meters. The officers and men carried forward the spirit of the "Great Meritorious Company," relied on themselves, worked hard to start a business, repaired the training ground, and painted the old barracks, thus giving the camp a new look.

Combined with the recently popular movie "Chosin Lake", Liu Yingjian gave officers and soldiers a scene micro-lesson entitled "The Coldest Night, the Hottest Blood". "The heroic positions and the mountains of steel cannot be destroyed or destroyed, and it is more difficult for the enemy to advance than to ascend to the heavens..." Toward the end of the lecture, Lieutenant Yan Wenqiang, a squadron officer who had been invited to participate in the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Chinese Volunteer Army's War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, stood up and organized all officers and men to sing a song.

The song is loud and imposing. As the backbone of the detachment's farthest ring around the Beijing card point from the city, Yan Wenqiang had to lead his comrades-in-arms to set out and use their persistence to ensure the absolute safety of the "main artery" entering Beijing.

Before setting off, Wang Peng, a soldier in the squadron who was responsible for the first time, deliberately ran to the honor room and read the inscription written by the famous writer Wei Wei for the officers and men after understanding the squadron's combat history: "Always be the loveliest person." ”

Weekly Special 丨 A movie touched the collective memory

When Wang Peng got into the patrol car and set off to the post, Tian Yunong, instructor of the 14th Squadron of the Shanghai General Mobile Detachment, also embarked on a journey to visit the veterans of the "Tiande Mountain Hero Company."

The purpose of Tian Yunong's visit was to visit Hu Zongwen, a veteran who had participated in the Battle of Tiandeshan. Opening his luggage bag, Tian Yunong took out a yellowed "Volunteer Army" newspaper and read one of the messages word by word: "After four days and nights of fighting, the 5th Company was awarded the title of 'Hero Company of Tiande Mountain'..." Tian Yunong wanted to bring this precious newspaper to the veterans who had participated in that battle.

Tian Yunong told reporters that the predecessor of the squadron was 5 companies of the 2nd Battalion of the 422nd Regiment of the 141st Division of the 47th Army of the Volunteer Army. On October 1, 1951, on the Korean battlefield, U.S. forces attacked Mount Tiendeok on the east bank of the Imjin River. This day happens to be the second birthday of the new China. Early in the morning, the officers and men of the 5th Company posted a couplet of "Strive to create a hero class, and improper heroes do not go down the mountain" at the door of the fortification. Company commander Yang Baoshan said: "This year's National Day is really interesting. Since the enemy is coming, we will prepare a generous gift for the National Day -- kill a few more devils, so that the people of the motherland can live this festival well. ”

When he heard the thoughts of the volunteer commanders and fighters of that year, the reporter suddenly remembered what Mei Sheng, the instructor of the 7th Company, said in the movie "Chosin Lake", "If we don't fight this battle, it will be our next generation." We are born into death so that they will no longer fight. ”

Just as Mei Sheng wanted to make the next generation no longer fight and let the people of the motherland live a good National Day, Yang Baoshan and his comrades-in-arms held the firm belief that "improper heroes do not go down the mountain" in the four-day and night battle, sacrificed their lives and forgot their deaths, stubbornly resisted, and successfully repelled the enemy's round after round of attacks. Only 4 officers and men remained, still firmly holding the position of Tiande Mountain. After the war, the leading organ of the Volunteer Army awarded the 5th Company the honorary title of "Tiandeshan Hero Company" and recorded the collective special merit.

In Tian Yunong's luggage, there is also a bright red battle flag, which is the "Improper Hero Does Not Go Down the Mountain" flag. Tian Yunong said he would ask the veterans to sign their names and then bring them back to the squadron. On the day of the commemoration of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, every officer and soldier of the squadron signed the company flag and solemnly swore an oath.

Weekly Special 丨 A movie touched the collective memory

When the reporter finished his article, Tian Yunong had already embarked on the return train, and he shared a poem entitled "For Peace" written by Wang Xiaohu, a senior soldier of the Mobile Fifth Squadron of the Xiamen Detachment of the Fujian General Brigade, in the "Circle of Friends", as a summary of the trip:

O loveliest man / What makes you give up your life and forget death / What makes you sacrifice yourself / Fearless cold / I have not heard your answer / But I already know your answer / Nineteen thousand six hundred and fifty-three cries / Gathered into an eternal wish / Peace / Peace / Peace ... Shangganling / Chosin Lake / Songku Peak / Countless monuments stand here / Lush pine cypress evergreen / Haze fades the sky / Sunshine and rain and dew fold colorful rainbows / Crowds under the bridge hold hands / Walk side by side in the field full of Jindalai flowers / Countless voices come together / Declare the whole world / Peace / Peace / Peace

Look back at history and remember the heroes

Gao Fujing

On November 27, 1950, in the Wolf Forest Mountains of Korea, the main force of the American army entered the area where the volunteer army ambushed, and the world-famous Battle of Chosin Lake was fought in the snow in the evening of the same day.

70 years later, the film "Chosin Lake" on the theme of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, like the illumination bombs on the battlefield that year, rose to the sky of the times, once again illuminated the collective memory of the sons and daughters of China, and aroused emotional resonance and feelings of home and country.

Under the narrative of the war film, the officers and men of the armed police force remembered some stories that they saw, heard, or were deeply rooted in their souls, and a wave of shock arose in their hearts.

Some of these stories come from the memories of elderly veterans, some come from the family letters cherished by martyrs, and some exist in the blood of generations of officers and soldiers. Entering the depths of history, we see that in addition to the "strong" who sacrificed life and forgot death, the story of the "most lovely person" contains righteousness, love, and love.

They also long for a steaming life, but when they encounter the invaders, they will not hesitate to rush upwards, and they will not hesitate to fight with flesh and steel; they have the spirit of revolutionary optimism, but they also have "unspeakable pain" because of the loss of comrades-in-arms, and they do not want to mention battles and battle achievements; they carry out an order and hold a position for the sake of the country and the nation, and the heroic spirits of the martyrs are numbered and sung into battle songs, and they will always live with the war flags covered with bullet holes; they are also children in the eyes of their fathers, husbands in the eyes of their wives, and fathers in the eyes of their children. But there are so many faces that turn into nameless monuments in the mountain wasteland...

The deceased are like Sif. In the mighty river of history, the figures of heroic martyrs flow east like rivers, but they are by no means nameless symbols of passing clouds, and they should not be forgotten.

In order for the next generation to stay away from the smoke of war, the hero melts the blood into the land, which is a magnificent song and an epic. The strong contrast between heat and bitterness, perseverance and deep hiding, hope and reality makes people sigh and think deeply. Only those who have experienced war know how precious peace is; only those who have fought against death understand how happy peace is; only those who have gazed, listened to, and read these "ordinary people" and their stories understand that remembering is the best tribute to them.

There is a feeling about the movie on the Internet: after waiting for a long time after the movie, there was no expected Easter egg, when I walked out of the cinema, although it was nearly midnight, I found that the red flag next to the street was flying, the lights were dimmed, and the bustle was extraordinary, and I thought that this was the best Easter egg.

The motherland will not forget, and the hero will always be remembered!
