In the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall, there is a receipt and a reply letter.
The receipts and replies to the letters were received by the Jiangxi people's committee of consolation to the revolutionary soldiers of the former enemy, and were stamped with the square official seal of the "Jiangxi Executive Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang." The content of the receipt is "I have received a donation of one million yuan from your association to comfort the revolutionary soldiers", and the content of the reply letter is that "the condolence donations received by the initiators yesterday have been sent by the standing committees of the Zodiac and Luo Shibing to the directors of the political (departments) of the Eleventh Army and the Twentieth Army for distribution."

Behind the receipt and reply, there is a story of military and civilian fish and water conditions.
Before the August 1 Nanchang Uprising, Nanchang established a leftist mass organization called the Jiangxi People's Committee for Consoling Former Enemy Revolutionary Soldiers. On August 3, the leftist mass organization sent 10,000 yuan of condolences donated by the people to the Jiangxi Provincial Party Department of the Kuomintang.
At this time, the Party Department of Jiangxi Province was still a Kuomintang-Communist cooperation organization with Communist Party members as the core. The person who handled the donation was Zhu Dazhen, a leftist member of the Kuomintang, who was one of the responsible persons of the Jiangxi People's Committee for Comforting former enemies and revolutionary soldiers. The recipients of the donations were Huang Dao and Luo Shibing, both of whom were responsible persons of the Jiangxi Provincial CPC Committee and served as executive members and standing committee members of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee of the Kuomintang.
After Huang Dao and Luo Shibing received the donation, they immediately wrote down a receipt and sent the money to the directors of the political department of the 11th Army of Ye Ting's troops and the 20th Army of He Long's troops who participated in the uprising.
The next day, Luo Shibing wrote another text message to Zhu Dazhen, informing him of the whereabouts of the donation.
The 10,000 silver dollars donated by the people from all walks of life in Nanchang effectively supported the rebel troops and contributed to the smooth southward movement of the rebel troops.
"The 'receipt' and 'reply' seem simple, but they are of extraordinary significance; 'receipt' is not only a proof of the source of military expenses for the rebel troops, but also the deep friendship of the people of Nanchang for this people's army; and the 'reply' shows that the early Communists already had very strict financial and economic discipline, reflecting their rigorous and meticulous work style with beginning and end." Staff at the August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall said.
Today, these two yellowed letters are quietly displayed in the exhibition hall, telling the audience about the friendship between the military and the people.
