As everyone knows, He Long also has a sister of Wei Zhen Xiangxi, He Ying.

She is a famous revolutionary heroine in the Xiang, Hubei, Sichuan and Qian areas, and the song praising her heroic deeds floats on the shores of Dongting Lake, Honghu Lake and Hanshui, echoing between Wuling Mountain, Fanjing Mountain and Wushan Mountain, and her good name is spread everywhere.

What kind of character did she win the reputation of "heroine" in one fell swoop? The story has to start when she was a child.

On April 14, 1886, He Ying was born in a poor peasant family in Hongjiaguan, Sangzhi County, Hunan Province, his father He Shidao, was a loyal and simple farmer, and his mother, Wang Wumei, was a hard-working and kind housewife.

He Shidao has seven children, which is a typical multi-mouthed person. As the saying goes, "The eldest sister is like a mother". As the eldest sister in the family, He Ying naturally cannot do whatever she wants, and cannot enjoy the spoiling of her parents alone like everyone is a bridesmaid. She understood that it was not easy for her parents to support this huge family. In order to help her parents share their worries, He Ying took the initiative to take up the burden of the family at the age of twelve, which directly shaped her hard-working, brave, and not afraid of rape. Neighbors praised her: "He Jia Xianggu, who does not boast, will be in charge of the family at the age of twelve."

He Ying, who became the little boss, gradually revealed his spicy and capable qualities and clear love and hatred. For example, in order to resist the oppression of the old society, she openly refused to bind her feet in front of her elders! For another example, she did not hide her feelings, bravely confessed her cousin Gu Jiting, and married him as she wished!

After marriage, He Ying devoted herself to assisting her husband in the struggle against the Manchu Qing, and formed a local armed force against the evil forces to avenge the grievances of the people.

In 1916, He Ying, who had just turned thirty, acquiesced to his younger brother He Longjie's murder of Zhu Haishan, a local tycoon who exploited peasant brothers, and drove out Chen Mugong, a corrupt zhixian in Sangzhi County.

However, by 1922, the story began to turn tragic! Her husband was killed by the Xiangxi warlord Chen Quzhen. When the bad news came, He Ying's mind was like a thunderbolt on a sunny day, buzzing. Hatred burned in her chest, and she vowed to avenge her husband!

But Heaven did not pity this woman! Unfortunately, it befell He Ying's head again and again: shortly after the death of her husband, He Ying's father died tragically under the butcher's knife of the enemy, and the youngest brother was also stuffed into the rice bowl and steamed to death after being tortured by the enemy...

Hit hard again and again, He Ying didn't have time to wipe the tears from the corners of his eyes! She had realized that the enemy had reached the point of invincibility, but she would not succumb to the enemy under any circumstances.

She resolutely took the gun left by her husband and became the commander of the detachment with the support of the brothers of Yunjingzhai.

In this way, a generation of revolutionary struggles began to recruit soldiers and horses, kill gentry, fight bandits, and save the poor! An ordinary peasant woman begins to transform into a rebel in the old world!

With the continuous growth of the revolutionary forces, the He Ying contingent was regarded by the opposition as a "thorn in the eye" and a "thorn in the flesh". In October 1927, Chen Cexun mobilized more than 600 people to besiege He Ying's troops and threatened to "never collect troops unless he widows are caught." At that time, He Ying rode on a large white horse, commanded the team to circumvent the enemy, spent day and night in the rain of guns and bullets, and then went into the mountains of Hefeng in Hubei Province, fighting 32 battles in 29 days, and dragging Chen Cexun's men and horses to exhaustion.

29 days, 29 days of continuous combat, not only the test of tactics, but also physical strength and perseverance. Chen Cexun was still dragged so badly, let alone a female general! Without the spirit of tenacious struggle and the wisdom of controlling the overall situation, it is impossible to achieve great victory!

In the spring of 1928, He Long and Zhou Yiqun were assigned by the Party Central Committee to carry out armed struggle in western Xiang'e. After He Ying received the news, he immediately led more than a thousand of his subordinates to participate in the "Hongjiaguan Juyi" and changed his name to "Guerrilla" in order to better support the Red Army in combat!

However, on the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival in 1933, the Kuomintang army had occupied nine base areas, including Zouma, Wuli, and Yanzi. The regiments of Sancha defended Qin Fuzhai and Xuan'en regiments against Kuang Chaoran, and were also approaching the area around Shayuan and Qifengguan near Dongchang Bay, intending to eliminate the Taiping Soviet government in one fell swoop.

At this time, traitors appeared in the guerrillas. Xu Huangsheng took advantage of his position as a member of the Peasants' Association to arrange for He Ying's second sister, He Pengmei, to be stationed at his home in order to control the guerrilla movements and wait for the opportunity to eliminate the guerrillas.

On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, according to He Ying's arrangement, most of the guerrillas went home to plant seedlings, and only a few members were stationed in Dongchangwan. Xu Huangsheng saw that the time had come and immediately passed on the information to Qin Fuzhai. Qin Fuzhai was overjoyed, laughing wildly and shouting, "Heaven help me!" In the early morning of the next day, together with Sun Haiqing and Wu Shaoxiong, the leader of the Divine Soldiers, they gathered more than 300 people to sneak into the guerrillas and quickly surrounded He Ying's garrison.

In the distance came the rapid barking of the vicious dogs.

After a riot, Qin Fuzhai roared triumphantly: "He Ying and Xu Huanran, come out and hand over your guns, you are already surrounded by Lao Tzu!" ”

Hearing the gunshots, He Ying calmly drew his double gun and, together with the guerrilla brigade leader Xu Huanran, shot at the enemy from the window, beating the enemy back into the bamboo forest.

In the fierce battle, He Pengmei was unfortunately shot in the waist and died heroically.

At this time, He Ying, who was fighting with the enemy to the death, was also unfortunately shot in the leg, and the blood was directed. Xu Huanran rushed over to help her up, and as soon as he lifted her back, he rushed out.

However, the guns and bullets are raining down, and it is impossible to prevent it. The enemy's bullets passed through He Ying's back and chest, and also pierced Xu Huanran's shoulder blades. At the last moment of his life, He Ying struggled to jump off Xu Huanran's back, slapped him hard, and shouted, "Leave me alone, retreat!" ”

The enemy's bullets came madly, and He Ying fell in a pool of blood, at the age of 47.

He Ying, selfless dedication to the party, unswerving loyalty to the revolution, born to the revolution, died for the revolution, and the demeanor of the scarf will always remain!
