
Emiri Miyamoto, a well-known Japanese violinist, was born in Tokyo on December 7, 1983, the second daughter of Japanese oboe player Akira Miyamoto. He studied in Germany with his father since he was a child, and at the age of 14, he won the first prize in the German student music competition in the Düsseldorf region.
After returning to Japan at the age of 15, he entered the high school attached to Tokyo University of Music, and then entered Tokyo University of Music for further study. Later, he participated in opera classes at the Seiji Ozawa School of Music, regular performances by the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and the Miyazaki International Music Festival. So far, he has studied under Tokunaga, Kyoko Shikata, Yoko Kubo, and Horiki.
