Mr. Chu Guiting (1892-1977) was a native of Nanguan, Yanzhou Town, Renqiu County, Hebei Province, and was the true biography of Mr. Li Cunyi (1847-1921). Mr. Li Jinglin (1884-1931) personally taught the Wudang sword, and was later recommended by Mr. Li to learn Yang Jia Taiji from Mr. Yang Chengfu (1883-1936). From 1935 to 1951, Teacher Chu lived in Nanjing for a long time to teach disciples. In 1952, he moved to Shanghai and taught boxing in Shanghai for 26 years, from a large number of scholars. The author had the honor of worshipping Elder Chu as a teacher in the autumn of 1947 and studied for nearly 26 years. Some of the notes taken in Master Chu's house and the oral materials of the ancestors will be compiled for lovers who have just learned the form of Yi Quan.

To learn the shape of the boxing, you must first understand the boxing theory, and then understand the technical requirements, so that the practice of boxing can take fewer detours. Shape Intention Fist contains the simple and unpretentious skills of Zhongping Gun and Zhongping Fist, and contains the Dantian Gong of Neidan Technique. The techniques are: one qi (wuji and tai chi one qi), two instruments (eagle bear two potential yin and yang telescopic motion), three body (three sections), four branches, five elements (five shapes), six combinations, seven fists, eight characters, nine songs and other techniques of practice methods and requirements.

They are described as follows:

"One gas": first stand on the electrodeless pile.

If you stand formally, relax inside and outside your body, and feel calm and calm under the Dantian (lower abdomen Guan Yuan Inner Void). When the lower Dantian abdomen is loose and vivid, it begins to appear (the first form of the three-body style). This is the method of "Neidan" practice.

Fist Spectrum Cloud: "Intensive cultivation of the spirit root qi to nourish the gods, Yuanyang does not go its true, practice Jin Dan at any time to use, easy to refine and easy to be refined, easy to be refined, easy to be refined, easy The ancient genealogy also said: "The Tao is not true, the cultivation is in vain, the ancestors teach the know-how, and the trick is true." Emphasis is placed on the "Tao tips" taught orally. From this, it is possible to get started, otherwise it is tangible and qualitative, and the fist has no Dantian gong, and it will be empty to the old one.

"Two instruments": The two instruments are the ones that the gas machine moves and the yin and yang move. The shape of the fist is a stretch of qi, divided into yin and yang qizheng. The starting hand is bear-shaped, which is defensive; the falling hand is eagle-shaped, which is offensive.

Bear-shaped head vertical, loose shoulders falling elbows, wide chest and solid abdomen, heavy breath and loose force (strength is naturally full), the center of gravity sinks and is stable, the eyes are focused on the front, the body method is tightened like a bear's posture; bending the knees and lifting the anus, closing the hips, rolling the tongue, lifting the air, starting (shooting) to the tip of the nose (guarding the midline, wrapping the elbow to protect the heart).

Falling eagle shape, limbs stretched out, hands and feet five fingers (toes) open the inner buckle, the inner strength of the forward, hands falling dantian, elbows do not leave the ribs, there is an eagle catching the shape of the object; the eyes bet, the hands hit, fiercely spread like eagles. Stretching is yang (eagle potential), shrinking is yin (bear potential), internal strength yin and yang are darkly combined, defensive and enterprising are integrated, yin is not separated from yang, yang is not separated from yin, and the law is taken as a fist. The more this two posture (二艺), its fist is distorted. The two instruments are yin and yang movement, one stretch and one vertical (contraction), the eagle has the essence of capture, the bear has the power of vertical items, the yin and yang Qizheng (rotating the waist and turning the spine) are integrated, and the practice is the stickiness of the spirit and the solid spirit, and the rigidity of the loose bullet.

"Three-body": standing three-body pile, intending to guard the dantian, there is no place around the body that is not weak, that is, there is no tension or relaxation, "strength" seems to be loose and not loose, want to start, pre-motion is not moved, implicit in the guard, standby and moving, a touch, this is the requirement of the basic practice of standing three-body pile.

The Shape and Intention Fist Technique has ten thousand laws out of the three-body style, and the three-body is the corresponding method of heaven and man, and has the overall momentum of standing on top of the heavens and the earth. Whether you are beginners or become a master, you must stand on this pile every day to practice Dantian, which is the basic kung fu. Among the three bodies, there are three sections, so "the three sections should be clear." One of the upper, middle, and lower sections of the person's identity: the elbow is the peristome, the middle section is the middle section, and the heel is the root node. The upper section (the section) is divided into three sections: the hand is the tip node, the elbow is the middle node, and the shoulder is the root node. Lower limbs: the foot is the tip node, the knee is the middle node, and the crotch is the root node. In terms of body: the head is the periphery, the heart (chest) is the middle node, and the dantian is the root node (dantian under the lower abdomen). This is the third verse of the middle verse. The practice of the three sections is: the beginning of the knot, the middle section follows, and the root knot chases. When practicing boxing, the three sections should be smooth, harmonious, and natural (the appearance should be smooth, and the inner qi should be harmonious).

Practice skillfully, self-reliant. The upper, middle, and lower parts are three sections, which are combined into one, and do not violate the bias of length, straightness, jaggedness, and pitching. The upper, middle, and lower contains a central axis main line, which runs through the upper and lower lines, symmetrical left and right, balanced before and after, and is practiced into the opposite and rounded into a whole, which is the true martial art.

"Four tips should be aligned": the hair of the four tips is blood, the teeth are bone tips, the fingernails of the hands and feet are tendons, and the tongue is the flesh. If the four branches are aligned, the internal strength will come out. The head should be on top (the top of the head should be erect), the anus should be lifted (Gu Dao Neiti), the Dantian heart should be held (reunion), and the mind should be ahead.

"Five elements to be combined": The five elements are divided into inside and outside, the inner five elements are the heart, liver, spleen, lungs and kidneys, and the outer five shapes (lines) are the ears, nose, mouth, eyes and tongue. The inner five elements move in phase, and the outer five forms follow each other. The inner five elements are outward, the outer five are connected, and the inside and outside should be coordinated. The five elements and four branches should be comprehensive, forming a whole inside and outside, moving in unison, and being quiet. Dynamic and static yin and yang, virtual reality, distortion and positive harmony, complement each other, if they move, do not see their shape, if they say their stillness, do not see their opportunities. The five elements are gold, wood, water, fire and earth, which should be five internal organs and five external features. The heart belongs to fire, and the heart is anxious; the spleen belongs to the soil, and the soil moves to attack; the liver belongs to the wood, and the liver is made of rapid flame; the lungs belong to gold, and the lungs move into thunder; the kidneys belong to water, and the kidneys move as fast as flying. The five elements contain one breath, and boldness is success. The Five Elements Fist is split (gold), collapse (wood), 躜 (water), cannon (fire), horizontal (earth), is the basic kung fu of shape, containing the five strengths for stepping, fluttering, wrapping, bunching, decisive, and the up-and-falling wave strength.

"Six-in-one gathering": The six-in-one, hand and foot, elbow and knee, shoulder and hip (outer triad); heart and intention, intention and qi, qi and force (strength) together (inner triad). When practicing boxing, single-mindedly and attentively, the strength can be concentrated. Qi is born from the heart, rises from the tip of the nose, and falls into the dantian. Up and down is like a central axis of the main line through the string, the hand is not high but the eyebrow, the hand is not low but the navel. The foot cannot be deflected (the partial person is lost in the void), nor can the side of the body be deviated (the partial center of gravity has no landing, and it is also lost). The three tips should be illuminated (the three tips refer to the tip of the nose, the tip of the hand, and the tip of the foot, and these three tips should be on one line), and the palms, feet, and eyebrows should be solid (to be intentionally enriched). Hands and feet rise, hands and feet arrive together. Hands and feet can not be lifted, hands do not fall, kung fu is not neat is also in vain. The three meanings are closely connected (three meanings refer to the fist intention, the strength intention, and the heart. These three meanings should be closely linked), in order to unite the Fa, inside and outside the body. If the three meanings are not connected, they must be shallow in learning. Walk like a dragon, walk like a tiger, and move like a monkey. Heart and eye, sharp eyes, eye collar. Heart and ear together, before sight, after hearing, ear sounds hearing enhancement. The heart and nose are together, and the strength is concentrated and the strength is in and out. The heart and tongue are united and energetic. The heart and the mouth are united, and the hole is closely followed, and the attack and defense are one. Intention and God, movement like flying, encountering the enemy is like burning the body, the action is sloppy. Six-in-one, cohesive. Acting in the fist is natural, the whole body is one, the five internal organs are drummed outward, the muscles and bones are contracted inward, and the six sides are gathered, which is the learning of the six parties, in order to strengthen and concentrate.

"Seven Fists": Shape and Meaning Fist has a method of seven fists in one, the head is a punch, the hand is a punch, the elbow is a punch, the shoulder is a punch, the crotch is a punch: the knee is a punch, the foot is a punch, and the seven fists are a total of one punch. One punch is ever-changing, one hundred and one; seven fists are connected, used together, complement each other, and are always one punch. Rising like the wind falling like an arrow, the momentum is like a continuous pearl, and the internal skills are as fast as lightning.

"Eight postures" (eight characters), punching eight postures, that is, moving, buckling, splitting, entering, pushing, supporting, representing, and leading. To practice boxing on a daily basis, it is necessary to have the head on top (vertical), the shoulders to droop, and the internal strength to be like the waves of water (overturning the waves), and the fight must be up and down. The spirit is wonderful, and the essentials rise and fall with the internal strength. Spiral telescopic, rigid and soft mutually reinforcing, sticky continuously, square for the real martial arts. Eight characters: chop (split fist), cut (躜拳), wrap (horizontal fist), crotch (collapse fist), pick (swallow-shaped fist), top (cannon fist), cloud (shrew-shaped fist), collar (serpentine fist).

"Nine Songs" is the opening song of the Shape And Yi Fist Three-Body Station Pile, which is used to check whether the correct self-practice station pile is correct.

(1) Body:

Leaning forward and backward, its style is not strong, the left side is right, and it is a disease of the body;

Look at the positive and oblique, look oblique and seem to be positive.

(2) Shoulder:

The head should be on top, the shoulder should be sagging, the left shoulder should be awkward, the right shoulder should be followed; the body strength should be in the hand, and the shoulder should be done (the shoulder can be loosened, and the strength of the foot root will be served to the fingers).

(3) Arm:

The left arm is extended forward, the right arm is in the ribs, it seems to be curved, it seems to be straight and not straight, it is not far from curved, and it is too straight and less force.

(4) Hands:

The right hand is in the flank (the root of the big finger near the navel), the left hand is chest-high (in front), the latter is slightly shaken, and the former is forceful.

(5) means:

The five fingers are divided, and their shape is like a hook, the tiger's mouth is perfect, it seems to be rigid and soft, and the force must reach the finger and cannot be forced.

(6) Shares:

The left strand is in front, the right strand is braced back, it seems to be straight, it seems to be bowless. Although there is a straight curve, every chicken shape is seen.

(7) Foot:

The left foot is straight (the tip of the foot is straight forward), the oblique side is diseased, the right foot is oblique (the right foot tip is to the right corner), the anterior heel is against the shin, with the distance of the person, the toe is buckled.

(8) Tongue:

The tongue is fleshy, the curl is lowered, the eyes are open and shrugged, the dantian is sinking, the muscles are like iron, and the internal organs are strong.

(9) Buttocks:

Lift the buttocks, the breath runs through the four branches, the legs are wrapped, the buttocks are fleshy, and the low is scattered, so it should be slightly higher.

"Body Method":

There are eight points of the shape-meaning fist method: rise, fall, advance, retreat, return, side, close, and longitudinal. Rise is horizontal, fall is smooth, (the starting body is horizontal, and the body should be put in a correct manner). Progress is low, regression is high. Turn back to the right and sideways to the left. The receiver is like a cat (retracting is a defensive shrinkage), indulging like a tiger swooping in (indulging is an attack). In short, the body should be peaceful in the middle, and the three sections should be consistent and round. It contains a central axis main line, up and down the string, left and right symmetry, front and back balance, spiral lifting, eight-sided support, the action should be accurate and natural.

Footwork:

The footwork of the Shape Intention Fist includes inch steps (half steps, short steps), pad steps (that is, after the heel of the hind foot, the front foot is lifted upwards), over-step (successively with large steps and follows the ground), fast steps, cut steps (vertical jump) and so on. For example, two or three feet away with inch steps, four or five feet eight feet with pad steps, step over (entering the front foot is the hind foot), such as eight feet away, use fast steps (starting the front foot with the back foot and flying away). You practice a lot to be proficient, and it is better to use it without heart.

There are also special locust insect steps (such as entering the left foot, lifting the right foot, first approaching the inner ankle of the left foot, and then immediately entering the right foot, heeling the left foot, and stepping on the seismic foot to strengthen the right foot) shaped like a locust insect, arching and flexing and extending. Two legs like one leg, full force speed. This step is also called a step.

Footwork is to turn up and fall, and the foot is like a large stone sinking into the water. Foot should be stepped on, avoid kicking with feet, kicking half of the body void. When the foot is lifted, the eyes look at the knee, the eyes look at the abdomen when the knee is raised, and the foot is used like the silent action of the tiger and the unpredictable (spiritual change) of the dragon to obtain the Dharma.

"Technique":

The shape of the fist is divided into one hand and two hands, the hand rises like a harrier into the forest, and the wings must be bundled up; the hand falls like a swallow taking water, one hand up and up, the body falls; the hands interact with each other, and rise and fall. Rise like lifting, falling like a brick, like a straight non-straight, like a curve not a curve. Both elbows do not leave the ribs and protect the heart at the same time. The hands stir the yin, and its rise is like the beating of the tiger, and its fall is like the catch of the eagle. The fight is like the overturning wave of water, and the party is really rising and falling. Its strength includes picking, fluttering, wrapping, bundling, and decisiveness (definitely trembling).

The requirements for practicing shape and intention fist: the eyes should be clear, the hands should be fast, and the steps should be urgent. The three tips should be right, (the tip of the nose, the tip of the hand, the tip of the foot, the tip of the foot should be right). The inner strength should be lifted outwards, and the shape should be raised in unison. The body should urge the shoulders, the arms should urge the elbows, and the elbows and arms should urge the hands, so that they should be coherent and followed, and the four branches should be aligned. We must do the practice: first, we must be accurate, second, we must be stable, and third, we must be fast. To achieve a penetrating breath, adhesion is inseparable, and the degree of integration is the degree.
