This small letter of The Fly-headed Xiaokai of Mr. He Zhendai's "Booklet inscribed with The Ink Of Modern Celebrities" was written by a disciple of He Zhendai named "Zitai" who was about to take up his new post in Beijing with a booklet entitled "Ink Of Modern Celebrities" and asked Mr. He to write it. Mr. He Zhendai wrote that he had "recorded two recent works and wrote several words", indicating that it was written in "The Mid-Autumn of Chengshu ... He was eighty years old". When I first encountered this work, I was shocked to read the word "eighty", and it was really awe-inspiring to write so exquisitely at such an advanced age!

In order to facilitate reading and appreciation, I tried to translate this piece of Mr. He Zhendai's "Ink Booklet of Modern Celebrities" into simplified characters, but the text is too long to be photographed here. According to the general idea of the whole article, Mr. He Zhendai's inscription for this pamphlet has two parts, the first is the ink written on the jade plate by weng Qinxi (Fang Gang), Lin Wenzhong (ZeXu), Yang Shu (Xi Min) and other modern celebrities in the commentary booklet. The second is to comment on the famous paintings in it, especially the example of "The Ring Altar Wolong Pine", saying that the pine of this work is like "a dragon hanging in the air" and "the song of the cangqiu is excellent", and he once painted one "without self-esteem". Overall, Mr. He Zhendai praised this "Modern Celebrity Legacy Ink" booklet very much, liked it very much, and even improvised it. It is a great pity that when I purchased the inscriptions on these two pages of Mr. He Zhendai, the part of the booklet of "The Remains of Modern Celebrities" had disappeared. But in any case, it is also a blessing to have Mr. He Zhendai, a famous man in Fuzhou and even in the Chinese literary circle, write such a wonderful and wonderful fly-headed Xiaokai at the age of 80.

Xiao Kai, as the name suggests, is the smallest of the Kaishu, created by Zhong Xuan during the Three Kingdoms period. Zhong Xuan's small strokes are like Feihong playing the sea, extremely vivid, but the knot body is wide and flat, and there are wills and wills. He Zhendai (1867-1952) was a native of Houguan (present-day Fuzhou). After the abolition of the imperial examination, he was hired by Shen Yuqing, an envoy of Jiangxi Province, as a copywriter of the clan bureau. This "Juyan Old Thing" was given to me by Teacher Xie Zhenou a few years ago. Opening this work, what comes into view is a Han Dynasty "military master" wearing a long sword and holding a lamp, and the Piece of Chinese Barrel script above his head. To record this Chinese text as follows:

"Guangdi Southern Yan Yongyuan 5th Year June Officers and Soldiers Kettle Qiao Yue Yan Book ... Inherit the May Yu official crossbow two zhang, eighty-eight arrows, one mouth of the kettle, two combinations. There are two crossbows, eighty-eight arrows, one mouth in the kettle, and two in one. A red crossbow, four stones, wooden pass. Eight copper arrows with a strong sheep's head. Therefore, the kettle is a mouthful, the hammer has a hammer, the mouth is exhaled, and it is five inches long. One together, the upper cover is missing two, and the major ones are like a toe. Broken flintlocks. A red crossbow, four stones and five stones, wood broken..."

The text felt like a ledger of weapons. So, what does it mean that the ledger and this "military master" are combined into the "Juyan Old Things" diagram? In order to accurately appreciate this map, for the sake of prudence, he still dialed the telephone of Teacher Xie Zhenou, who introduced that during the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, the famous anti-Hungarian general Huo Quyi set out from Qingyang in Gansu Province, crossed the Inner Mongolia Chicken Deer Plug, crossed the Thousand Mile Gobi, reached the Juyan area, launched many major wars with the Xiongnu, and forced the Xiongnu to surrender or flee from Juyan to the Qilian Mountains. Since then, the Juyan area has officially come under the jurisdiction of the Han Dynasty. In the first year of the Taichu Dynasty (104 BC), in order to protect the hexi corridor city of Guo, the Han Dynasty stationed 180,000 Shubian soldiers in the Juyan area, and set up the two cities of Juyan and Xiutu. In the third year of the first taichu (102 BC), the Han Dynasty built fortifications along the banks of the Heihe River and established an overall defense system in the Juyan area.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Juyan site unearthed the "Juyan Hanjian", which is the most important Han Dynasty Biansai Tunshu document discovered after the "Dunhuang Hanjian". The text on the map of "Juyan Old Things" is exactly the text on the "Moon Speech Book" of the famous "Bing Cauldron Book" during the "Bing Cauldron Book" copied from "Juyan Hanjian", and its content is the monthly consumption of weapons recorded by the officers and men of juyan in the fifth year of the Eastern Han Dynasty. "Juyan Old Things" shows a fragment of the life of the guards of Juyan Fortress.

After listening to Teacher Xie Zhen'ou's lecture on the creative intention of the map of "Juyan Old Things", I imagined the scene of the guards in the beacon of Juyan Fortress standing guard on the beacon platform during the day and leading their war horses to the river to drink water at dusk; imagining the sound of the wind and sand in the dark night of Juyan Fortress and the sound of the night patrol in the army; imagining the Juyan Fortress standing on the boundless desert in the mist of wind and snow, and the mourning of Hu Geese from time to time in the distance from time to time passing through the night sky...

Looking back at the picture of "Juyan Old Events", I found that Xie Zhenou, a famous painter in China who devoted his life to creating works on Han and Tang themes and made outstanding achievements in reproducing major historical events and important historical figures of the Han and Tang Dynasties, had achieved great feats in character painting.

First of all, the composition of this work is very special, the strange-looking "military master" in the picture actually appears from the "darkness" in the beacon; the text on the wall, the length is jagged, staggered, blank, breathable, just like a calligraphy work through the "military master" sideways eyes and this figure painting into a whole.

Secondly, the "military master's" clothing lines are strong and powerful, the lines are thin and square folded, the gossamer is interactive, and the entire character image is outlined with line drawings. This kind of painting method and painting style is a major feature of Xie Zhen'ou's Han and Tang dynasty figure paintings.

From the demeanor of this "military master", you can also feel the profound ability of Xie Zhenou's character to write truth. Through a look in the eyes of the characters and a gesture to shade the wind from the lights, this work vividly reproduces the vivid faces of historical figures, and vividly portrays the hardships of the working environment and dedication to the country of the officers and men guarding Juyan in those years.

The color of this work is as simple and clear as Xie Zhenou's Han and Tang dynasty figure paintings, mainly freshwater ink, supplemented by light color, color and pen nature complement each other, pen and color ink complement each other, loud and coordinated, colorful and ancient, elegant and eye-catching.

Another hidden "point of interest" of this work is that the left arm of the "military master" is tied with blue, red, yellow, white and black multicolored silk, which is an auspicious ornament of the Eastern Han Dragon Boat Festival. The Han Dynasty began to believe in the five elements of yin and yang, and the five colors of the five colored silk represented the five directions and five elements, which were mutually exclusive. According to legend, the Dragon Boat Festival's arm is tied with multicolored silk, which can avoid soldiers and ghosts, avoid diseases and plagues, and drive away evil spirits. This small detail not only adds a layer of cultural content to the work, but also shows the depth of Xie Zhenou's research on Han culture.

Xie Zhenou's Han and Tang Dynasty works have participated in dozens of large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad, and won the silver medal of the Fifth National Art Exhibition and the gold medal of the Sixth National Art Exhibition. He was the vice president of the Chinese Gongbi Painting Society. He is currently a distinguished researcher of Dunhuang Research Institute. After retiring from the post of president of the Fuzhou Academy of Painting, he moved to hangzhou's "Ten Mu Field" and continued to cultivate on the theme of Han and Tang Dynasties.

Reading this Tang Wangwan poetry calligraphy work written by the famous painter Mr. Shen Yaochu (1907-1990) really took a little time until I read the Song Dynasty Jiang Kui's "Continuation Book Genealogy and Pen" about "... Like cone painting sand "...... Even-faced Tibetan Front"; Mr. Pan Tianshou's emphasis on the use of the pen to pay attention to "tree flying iron casting green" and "the pen end has its own vajra pestle"; the calligraphy language in painting paintings such as "iron bone Linghan" and "the beauty of Qu Iron" in paintings of past generations of painters suddenly realized that there seemed to be the beauty of "Qu Iron" and the heart of the naked child written by "Vajra Pestle" in this work.

The poem in this book is from the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wan's "Under the Sub-Northern Gushan Mountain": "Outside the Green Mountains on the Road, before the green water of the boat." The tide level is wide on both sides, and the wind is hanging in the sails. The sea is born in the night, and the river spring enters the old year. Where is the township book? Return to Yan luoyang. "This is a nostalgic poem, the first and last sentences are touching the scene, pinning on the sorrow of the departed. Mr. Shen Yaochu wrote a calligraphy work with the sentence "Chao Ping, Feng Zheng", which can be described as well-intentioned. Mr. Shen Lao, a native of Zhao'an Shidu Village (now Shijiang Village) in Fujian Province, crossed to Taiwan in 1948 and wandered in Taiwan for more than 40 years. This work was written at the age of 83, that is, the year when Mr. Shen Yaochu returned to his hometown after 42 years of traveling in Taiwan and died of illness in his hometown, which is also the last expectation of Mr. Shen Lao's life. Mr. Shen Yaochu has suffered from the separation and isolation of the Taiwan Strait all his life, and he earnestly hopes that the tide between the two sides of the strait will calm down, the road connecting the two sides of the strait will be wider, and the exchanges between compatriots on both sides of the strait will be smooth, which shows his pure heart.

During Mr. Shen Yaochu's stay in Taiwan, he devoted himself to painting and eventually achieved something. In 1974, he was awarded the "Golden Jubilee Award", the highest honor of the Taiwan Provincial Painting Society, and in the late 1970s, he was promoted to "Taiwan's Top Ten Famous Painters" with Zhang Daqian and others. After 1975, he has held solo or group exhibitions in more than 40 countries and regions, and his works have been collected by many museums at home and abroad. He has published "Shen Yaochu Calligraphy and Painting Collection" and "Shen Yaochu Commentary".

Mr. Shen Yaochu enjoys a high reputation in Taiwan, but his heart is always worried about his hometown. During his stay in Taiwan, he called himself "Shidu Ren" and "ShiDu Shuo"; he once composed "Sunset Sunset Return to the Geese Map" and titled "Seeing the Return to the Geese, the travelers were shocked." Pity the canal Tengjian, ashamed that I still have zero Ding. There is true meaning in the painting, and the name is faintly floating outside the body. Shidu Pass is far away, when will it be cultivated? His homesickness, nostalgia, and eagerness to return were very urgent; when he was 81 years old, he also composed "Returning to the Wild Goose Map", and inscribed "The years and lakes are the same guests, and I am accompanied to fly south." This kind of content accounts for a large proportion of Mr. Shen Yaochu's paintings, works and calligraphy collections, and his desire to return to his hometown is sincere. In 1982, after a lapse of 34 years, Mr. Shen Yaochu re-embarked on the land of his hometown. In 1988, he returned to his hometown to visit his relatives again. When he learned that he would soon die of illness, he seized all the time to raise funds to return to his hometown and settle down. In 1990, with his years of savings and his lifelong achievements in calligraphy and painting, he returned to his hometown to settle down and invested in the construction of the "Shen Yaochu Art Museum" in his hometown.

When Mr. Shen Yaochu was seriously ill in his hometown, his son Mr. Shen Qiunong entrusted me to help a famous old Chinese medicine doctor from the Buddhist circles in Fujian Province to go to Zhangzhou to diagnose and treat Mr. Shen Yaochu, so I had a rare meeting with Mr. Shen Yaochu, and met to find an opportunity to further talk about artistic creation and related issues during the period in Taiwan, so that the camera could write something for Mr. Shen. Unfortunately, the old man unfortunately died on October 24, 1990 in his hometown where he thought about day and night, which is very sad!

Time flies, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the death of Mr. Shen Yaochu, re-reading Mr. Old Mr. Tang Wangwan's poems, quite emotional, I would like to write the above words as an admiration and commemoration of Mr. Old.
