Zhu Yuanzhang's reply said that he could be killed, and Liu Bowen had no worries, and immediately ordered Li Bin to be beheaded and shown to the public to set an example. But this move completely annoyed Li Shanchang.
In the few days after the end of this matter, there was no rain, and Li Shanchang seized this opportunity to fiercely consult Liu Bowen to Zhu Yuanzhang, and on the grounds that the drought saw blood and angered the gods, he completely put the blame on Liu Bowen's head.

At this time, coinciding with the death of Liu Bowen's wife, Liu Bowen also saw clearly the situation in the DPRK and China, chose to retreat bravely, and took the initiative to resign and return to his hometown, which Zhu Yuanzhang approved.
