On August 30, the Standing Committee of the 18th People's Congress of Langao County held its 37th meeting. Tang Tianshun, chairman of the county people's congress standing committee, presided over the meeting, and vice chairmen Ma Tianli, Liu Chunhai, Jiang Xianwen, Lu Xiuchun, and other members of the standing committee of the county people's congress attended the meeting. Wei Xiaolin, deputy secretary of the county party committee and secretary of the party group of the county government; Chen Lei, member of the standing committee of the county party committee and executive deputy county governor; Chang Bin, member of the standing committee of the county party committee and director of the organization department; Liu Yanhua, president of the county court; and Gan Xiaogang, chief procurator of the county procuratorate, attended the meeting as observers.
The meeting voted and passed the relevant personnel motion submitted by the county people's government to appoint Comrade Wei Xiaolin as deputy county magistrate of the Langao County People's Government; voted and passed Comrade Yang Yilong's decision to resign from the post of county chief of the Langao County People's Government; accepted the motion submitted by the chairman of the County People's Congress Standing Committee to Comrade Wei Xiaolin to take up his post, and decided that Comrade Wei Xiaolin would be the acting county magistrate of the Langao County People's Government.
At the meeting, Tang Tianshun pointed out that Comrade Wei Xiaolin has a firm political stand, a high theoretical level, a strong sense of the overall situation, rich work experience, passion for starting a business as an official, a decent and solid work style, and strict self-requirements. It is believed that under the strong leadership of the county party committee, Comrade Wei Xiaolin will be able to unite and lead a group of people in the county government, not forget the original intention, keep in mind the mission, take on the role, blaze new trails, consolidate and develop the excellent situation of catching up with and surpassing Langao in the new era, and continue to push forward the various undertakings of Langao.
Wei Xiaolin said that he will enter a new role as soon as possible, integrate into the new environment, do not forget the original intention, be loyal to the party, firmly establish the "four consciousnesses", strengthen the "four self-confidences", and practice the "two safeguards"; take serving the people as the fundamental purpose, adhere to the policy of tilting to the people's livelihood, concentrate financial resources on the people's livelihood, and make the development results more warm and more textured; take pragmatic responsibility as the greatest pursuit, and vigorously carry forward the style of diligence and dedication, dare to take responsibility, dare to work hard, and persevere.
