Born in 1949, Liang Lin is the same age as New China. In 1961, at the age of 12, he went from Dongguan to Hong Kong alone to work hard, from the beginning of his apprenticeship to the toy industry at the age of 15, and now he has been in this industry for 55 years. He is the founder of Longchang Toys and the first batch of Hong Kong businessmen to invest and build factories in Dongguan in the early days of reform and opening up. From opening the first processing factory in Guancheng in 1980 to finally moving the company's headquarters to Changping, Longchang Toys has made great progress in Dongguan. Liang Lin said that this is not only because of the local feelings, but also because Dongguan, as an international manufacturing city, has advantages that cannot be compared with other places. "This is the strength that Dongguan has accumulated through reform and opening up, and it has built a good platform for Hong Kong companies to invest and build factories."

Liang Lin often told several children about the history of the family and the story of his hometown. "Let them know where they came from, where their roots are, be proud of the motherland, and understand that without the motherland's reform and opening up, there would be no prosperity and development now." The eldest son, Liang Yuxiong, remembers that when he was a child, when it came to the winter and summer vacations or important festivals, the family would return to Dongguan, and his childhood memories were full of booming factories and interesting farmland villages. "At that time, it was not as convenient as it is now, and we went back to Dongguan in a long line from Luohu to take the train, because there were too many people, and adults always handed our children out of the window." Liang Yuxiong said with a smile.

It is precisely because he was influenced by his father since he was a child and witnessed the rapid development of Dongguan, Liang Yuxiong naturally chose to develop in Dongguan after returning from studying abroad. While taking over the family business, he was elected as a member of the Dongguan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference at the pace of his father, and now serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
