After many days of continuous rainfall, Baotu Spring, the "world's first spring", was fiercely "full of drinks", and the groundwater level rose again, reaching 30.08 meters, once again refreshing the highest record since 1966.

Affected by the heavy rainfall in the early stage and the water coming from upstream, the flood situation in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River developed rapidly, and from 10 o'clock on September 20, the Shandong Yellow River Bureau launched the Shandong Yellow River Flood and Drought Disaster Prevention Level IV emergency response, and immediately upgraded to Level III the next day.
The Shandong Yellow River Bureau released a message on the 6th that the 5,000 cubic meters per second flood of the main stream of the Yellow River in Shandong will continue for about 15 days. At present, the Dongping Lake and Jindi River in Shandong have super-alert floods, and the Yellow River and Zhangwei River have occurred in a large-flow flood process.

It is reported that from January 1 to October 7 this year, at 10 o'clock, Shandong's precipitation ranked second most since 1951, second only to 1964, with an average precipitation of 915.9 mm, 54.7% more than the same period of the year, and 23.1% more than last year.
In order to "control water," Li Ganjie, secretary of the Shandong Provincial CPC Committee, and Zhou Naixiang, acting governor of Shandong Province, frequently went to the flood prevention site from 1 to 7 October to make arrangements for flood prevention work in the Yellow River, Dongping Lake, Zhangwei River, and Jindi River. At present, more than 10,000 people in the eastern section of the Yellow River patrol the Yellow River embankment every day to ensure an anran.
