Tiemen Town, Xin'an County, 45 kilometers away from Luoyang, has a place where the epitaphs of various generations are gathered, called Qiantang Zhizhai, which is worth seeing.

The door of Qiantang Zhizhai
Qiantang Zhizhai was built by Zhang Xiao (Zi Boying), the elder of the Xinhai Revolution. Kang Youwei stopped by Shaanxi Province, and wrote this couplet, of which there are many dictionaries, and the meaning must be carefully examined.
The collected tombstones are embedded in the four walls and corridors of the house, which is very spectacular!
There are more than 1400 pieces, the most in the Tang Dynasty, more than 1100 pieces, so it is called "Thousand Tang Zhizhai".

Zhang Xiao was obsessed with Jinshi calligraphy, and had a lot of contacts with Yu Youren and Kang Youwei, and under the influence and suggestion of Youren, Zhang Xiao searched for the epitaphs of his predecessors and built this Thousand Tang Zhi Zhai.
After admiring the Luoyang Longmen Grottoes, it is indeed time to go to Tiemen Town to see this epitaph museum, a different experience.
