10 wins.

When a player who was still playing the First Division of Go last year sat in the matchmaking hall of Neusoft College at the foot of Mount Qingcheng to compete in the "Ying's Cup" College Go Championship, he did not "cross"... On the contrary, the 22-year-old young man named Rong Yi repeatedly emphasized his luck in an interview after winning the championship - "It is very difficult, there are several professional masters, Zhang Tao is last year's CCTV Cup fast chess champion, I am lucky, this time I have not been on him." Also, there are a few games in the middle that almost lost, and it is really lucky to win the championship. ”

Lin Jianchao, president of the Chinese Weiqi Association, presented awards to the winners

He is very humble, and even if he can successfully become a college student, he is also quite grateful. "I think it may be because I reached the quarter-finals of the Samsung Cup World Series in 2014 and became an international athlete that I had the opportunity to go to university. This, too, can be said to be a kind of luck. ”

Rong Yi is really not easy, look at the list of the top eight in the men's group of this year's collegiate Go Championship. The second to eighth are Guo Yuzheng, Li Ming, Ji Lili, Zhang Tao, Wang Yanhao, Qiao Zhijian and Jin Dahui, except for Jin Dahui, who is an amateur chess player, Qing Yizheng is a professional chess player, and several of them are also "WeiJia level".

Since the Guangdong Youth Hostel Tongcheng team was demoted in last year's Weijia League, Rong Yi, whose rank is temporarily ranked 50th in China, has not many opportunities to play, except for the annual Weiyi League and the college go tournament with a sense of mission far higher than the prize money, it is difficult to see him in other professional competitions.

The following live interview transcript:

——Which is the most difficult set to win the championship?

Rong Yi: For Wang Yanhao's game, the other party is also a professional chess player, and it feels like desperate to go down to the middle game. In the end, I won by relying on the opponent's penalty point, which can be said to be a chess game won by the rules, which is a bit embarrassing.

——You are now a sophomore, what are your plans after graduation?

Rong Yi: It should still be a work related to Go.

- Will you still play the League one in the future? Or have you received invitations from other Go teams?

Rong Yi: This depends on the arrangement of the team, besides, I have not received any invitations at present. Even if there is an invitation, because my Guangdong team still has to go down to the second division, it is estimated that it will not go.

How do you judge your strength in the League One?

Rong Yi: It's hard to get down, if you are lucky, the winning rate should be more than 50%. Last year, I didn't reach half of the winning percentage in the first division, probably because I was the main player for several rounds, and with my current strength, it was really too difficult to win the game in the main player position.

——In normal training, will you use artificial intelligence to assist?

Rong Yi: Most of the time I am in Hangzhou Chess Academy, where I can use the open source LEELAZERO (Belgian Go Artificial Intelligence), and I feel very good. There is a saying that the power of Go artificial intelligence is related to the computer configuration used, but I personally feel that it is not obvious, because even if it is a low-end computer, it is still very difficult for you to beat "Lila" or "ZEN7" on it. However, I usually do not use artificial intelligence as an opponent, but rely on them to review and study. In the face of powerful Go artificial intelligence, we are too small.

HOW DO YOU USUALLY TAKE CARE OF YOUR PRIZE MONEY FOR A GO TOURNAMENT?

Rong Yi: Now I have very little prize money for competitions, and in terms of college student competitions, the prize money is very small, but I am still very happy to win the championship, at least I can give a good account to my alma mater.
