This year, Jiaohe City has developed the beef cattle industry through two modes of "hiding cattle in households" and moderate-scale breeding. On the basis of continuing to promote the sub-household breeding model implemented last year, they explored the establishment of a "2+2+2" moderate-scale beef cattle breeding system and created a "100-head cattle farm, 10,000-head scale" beef cattle production capacity growth zone.
The "2+2+2" system is to grasp leading enterprises and farmers' cooperatives, drive the rapid expansion of beef cattle breeding scale and the rapid increase of basic cow stocks, and promote the increase of farmers' income and the increase of village collective economic income.
Last year, Jiaohe City took the lead in Jilin region to use the small entrepreneurship guarantee loan policy to encourage farmers to breed basic cows, promote the "small scale, large groups, the whole village to promote, separate households" beef cattle development model, the implementation of the "12422" can breed cow breeding system, that is, each household uses the space in the courtyard to build 1 standardized pen, raise 2 can breed cows, get 40,000 yuan interest-free loan, sell 2 commercial cattle per year, and have an annual income of more than 20,000 yuan.
This year, Jiaohe City continued to promote the model and focused on expanding the stock of basic cows. At present, a total of 129 million yuan of loans have been issued to 3238 households, and more than 6500 new basic cows have been added. It is estimated that by the end of the year, nearly 200 million yuan of loans can be issued, more than 10,000 new basic cows will be added, and the overall income of 5,000 beef cattle farmers will increase by more than 100 million yuan.
At the same time, Jiaohe City has developed moderate-scale breeding through the introduction of leading enterprises and the establishment of cooperatives, and has made every effort to create a beef cattle production capacity growth zone.
At the beginning of the year, in view of the fact that most of the cultivated land in Jiaohe City is basic farmland and the land for planning aquaculture is scarce, they verified the location of non-basic farmland plots determined by the second national land survey and verified that 103 pieces of usable land, with an area of more than 200 hectares, can be used as breeding land.
With the land for breeding, Jiaohe City plans to build 2 new 1000 head cattle farms and 13 100 head cattle farms. Two thousand head cattle farms, Xinlin Animal Husbandry Beef Cattle Breeding Base and Jinxing Village Beef Cattle Breeding Cooperative, have started construction. 5 hundred head cattle farms have started construction, and the remaining 8 hundred head cattle farms are undergoing land filing, planning and design, and are expected to start construction before the end of the year.
Xinlin Animal Husbandry Beef Cattle Breeding Project, plans to invest 55 million yuan, the first phase covers an area of 3 hectares, the purchase of 500 imported Black Angus cows; the second phase of expansion, increase the number of Black Angus cows, adopt a farm to drive a village model, 3 years to drive 100 family farms. At present, the first phase has been completed and put into operation.
Jinxing Village Beef Cattle Breeding Cooperative Project, plans to invest 13 million yuan, covers an area of 4 hectares, through the "breeding + fattening" way to raise 1,000 beef cattle, the villagers after the shares through the dividend to get income. The project is currently undergoing barn infrastructure construction.
In addition, Jiaohe City has reached a beef cattle breeding cooperation intention with China Mining United Investment Group Co., Ltd., building high-standard barns, introducing intelligent breeding equipment, upgrading breeding technology, and promoting the high-quality development of Jiaohe beef cattle industry.
It is estimated that by the end of the year, the stock of basic cows in Jiaohe City will reach 75,000 heads, the overall scale of beef cattle will develop to 180,000 heads, the output volume will reach 60,000 heads, and the output value will reach 1.2 billion yuan. They strive to use the five years to raise 250,000 beef cattle, of which 116,000 can breed cows, forming a "Jiao Niu" brand with obvious regional characteristics.
