On October 25, 2021, the "2021 China International Die Casting High-level Forum and the 3rd Die Casting CEO Summit" was held in Beilun, Ningbo, a demonstration base for china's die casting industry. The degree of automation in die-casting production is relatively high, and it is one of the industries in the casting family that has the conditions to take the lead in realizing digitalization and intelligent manufacturing. The 2021 China International Die Casting High-level Forum and the 3rd Die Casting CEO Summit, with the theme of "Intelligent Die Casting Wins the Future", invited elites of the whole industry chain to attend the meeting and work together to help China's die casting scientific development and stability.
The summit was hosted by China Foundry Association, Ningbo Beilun District People's Government, China Foundry Association Die Casting Branch, Special Casting and Nonferrous Alloy Magazine, Casting Engineering Magazine, from Guangdong Casting Industry Association, Zhejiang Foundry Industry Association, Jiangsu Foundry Association, Jiangsu Foundry Society, Anhui Foundry Association, Shandong Foundry Association, Hong Kong Foundry Industry Association, Chongqing Foundry Industry Association, Tianjin Casting and Forging Industry Association, Shanghai Die Casting Technology Association, Suzhou Die Casting Technology Association, More than 1,000 people attended the meeting, including leaders of Ningbo Foundry Industry Association and Ninghai Die Casting Association, as well as experts and scholars from Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Soochow University, Wuhan University of Technology, South China University of Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Northeastern University, Shanghai University and other institutions of higher learning, as well as representatives of outstanding entrepreneurs in China's die casting industry with China's top 50 die casting and China's top 20 die casting molds as the core.
Wang Dongsheng, special secretary general and executive deputy secretary general of China Foundry Association, presided over the opening ceremony of the summit.
Zhang Libo, president of the China Foundry Association, pointed out in his speech: In recent years, the process equipment and product quality of a number of outstanding foundry enterprises have reached the world's advanced level, and ranked among the first square of the world's strong casting enterprises; this has supported China's machinery industry to rank first in the world for 11 consecutive years, and ensured that China has become the only country in the world to maintain a complete industrial system in the 41 categories. Die casting is the casting family of the new force, in 2020 China's die casting output reached 4.62 million tons, an increase of 3% over 2019; in 2021, although there is a substantial increase in the price of raw materials such as aluminum alloys, China's die casting industry is still against the trend, in the 13 listed companies surveyed by the Die Casting Branch of the China Foundry Association, the average growth rate in the first half of 2021 is as high as 69.88%.
This summit is an important meeting based on the new development stage, implementing the new development concept, building a new development pattern, and insisting on promoting the development of China's die casting industry in the direction of "green, intelligent and high quality". It aims to publicize and communicate policies, markets and technologies through "macroeconomic analysis", "authoritative interpretation of standards", "cutting-edge technology sharing", "interview with famous die-casting experts", "Q&A of famous experts", "visits to die-casting famous enterprises" and other sections, and work together to help the scientific development of China's die-casting.
Pan Qunwei, member of the Standing Committee of Beilun District of Ningbo City, said in his speech: As the industry with the most regional characteristics and competitive advantages in Beilun, Beilun die-casting mold has formed a high-grade die-casting mold industry system dominated by high-grade molds, auto parts, etc., integrating functions such as research and development, production, testing, exhibition and sales, and the output value has reached more than 60% of the total output value of the national die-casting mold, and has been rated as "China Die-casting Mold Production Base", "National Die-casting Mold Standardization Demonstration Base" and " China Die Casting Industry Demonstration Base", and enjoys the reputation of "the hometown of China's die casting mold". This summit was held in Beilun with the theme of "intelligent die casting, winning the future", exchanging ideas, colliding wisdom, and discussing the reform and development of China's die casting industry, which is of great significance, and will be a grand event to deepen exchanges and cooperation and jointly seek the development of die casting and mold industry.

Subsequently, the summit listened to the keynote report of the conference entitled "China's Economy Constantly Advancing under a Severe and Complex Situation" by Han Wengao, president of the Economic Daily Publishing House and editor-in-chief of China Economic Review Magazine, which was divided into two parts: "First: Analysis of macroeconomic situation" and "Next: Focus of Economic Work This Year Determined by the Central Committee". Starting from the improvement of the world epidemic and economic recovery, Han Wengao analyzed in detail the wonderful contents of China's economic trend in the future, the export situation, and the impact of the great power game, and explained the focus of this year's economic work from eight aspects, such as national strategic needs, independent regulation and control of the industrial chain supply chain, and adherence to expanding domestic demand.
After the keynote speech, the "Interview of Die Casting Masters" with the theme of "Industrial Chain Collaboration, Co-construction and Sharing of Intelligent Die Casting" was presided over by Fan Qi, executive vice president of the China Foundry Association.
Shen Lingen, chairman of Suzhou Yardlin Co., Ltd., Li Yuanfa, chairman of the board of directors of Jiarui Group, Fang Jianru, general manager of Dalian Yaming Co., Ltd., Liu Zhuoming, CEO of Lijin Group, and Kwong Manxing, executive director of Huajin Aluminum Group, discussed how to achieve intelligent die casting and whole industry chain collaboration on the spot; Peng Fan, honorary president of China Foundry Association and chairman of Ningxia Sharing Group, participated in the discussion through online forms. At the end of the main forum, Sheng Hong, vice chairman of Ecodi Co., Ltd., made a report entitled "Sharing experience of digital factory construction of die-casting enterprises".
The report starts from the elaboration that digitalization is the only way for the manufacturing industry to go to the future, guiding enterprises to create a digital factory roadmap, to establish a digital vision, build a digital platform, promote the transformation of organizational structure, and build new KPI indicators; the business direction can be divided into six aspects: equipment interconnection and automation, MES integration and full traceability, process monitoring and efficiency optimization, equipment fault diagnosis and maintenance, energy management system and environmental monitoring. In die-casting production, including aluminum ingot smelting, die-casting, machining, inspection and packaging, warehousing and shipping five processes, can be traced and controlled with the whole process of digital system, Shenghong explained in depth and detail how enterprises should build and practice the digital factory of die-casting enterprises.
