Qiang Boqin (1939.09- ) is a biochemist and molecular biologist from Shanghai. He is a researcher at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Peking Union Medical College. He was the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and the Vice President of Peking Union Medical College. Shen Yan (1956.10- ), molecular geneticist. He has made important contributions in the fields of single-gene genetic diseases and molecular mechanisms of multi-gene complex diseases. Zhao Yupei (1954.07- ), Surgeon. People from Changchun, Jilin Province. He received a master's degree from Peking Union Medical College in 1987. He is currently a professor and president of Peking Union Medical College Hospital and the vice chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology. In 2011, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He was a consultant and director of the Collaborative Center of Traditional Medicine of the World Health Organization, the president of the International Association of Traditional Medicine, and an internationally renowned traditional pharmacist. Wang Linfang (1929.11.03- ), biochemist and molecular biologist, born in Harbin. Professor and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. A native of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, he is currently the director of the Etiology and Cancer Lesion Research Laboratory of the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and the chairman of the Oncology Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association. In 2013, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

His research interests include the molecular mechanisms of malignancy and their genetic susceptibility. His main academic contributions are to reveal the genetic susceptibility genes of important tumors such as esophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer and lung cancer in China, the interaction between susceptibility genes and the environment, and the influence of genetic variations on the efficacy and prognosis of tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Hu Shengshou (1957.04.19- ) Cardiovascular Surgeon Specialist. A native of Wuhan, Hubei Province. In 1989, he obtained a master's degree in surgery from Peking Union Medical College (now Peking Union Medical College). He is currently the director of the National Cardiovascular Disease Center, the president of Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and the director of the State Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Diseases. In 2013, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Professor Hu Shengshou has been engaged in clinical, teaching and scientific research in cardiovascular surgery for a long time, established a series of minimally invasive treatment technologies for coronary heart disease surgery in China, opened up a new model of "composite technology" for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, created the first key laboratory of cardiovascular regenerative medicine in China, and achieved a series of research results from cardiomyocyte regeneration to heart transplantation and artificial heart development; and founded the aortic-pulmonary artery "double root transfer surgery (DRT)", which significantly improved the international influence of complex congenital heart disease treatment in China. Zhang Xue (1964.07.15-), male, medical geneticist, from Zhaozhou County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. He is currently the president of Harbin Medical University, the director of the Department of Medical Genetics of the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences - Peking Union Medical College College (long-term professor), the chairman of the Expert Committee on Rare Disease Diagnosis and Treatment and Protection of the National Health Commission, the president of the Medical Genetics Physician Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and the former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences - Peking Union Medical College. In 2019, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Mainly engaged in the research of pathogenic genes of rare genetic diseases, he found the pathogenic GENES of single gene diseases such as familial abnormal acne and the pathogenic DNA rearrangement of genomic diseases such as congenital systemic hirsutism, revealing two new mechanisms of gene inhibition upstream open reading frame (uORF) pathogenic mutations and palindrome structure-mediated chromosomal insertion.
